Flogas raised its residential electricity prices by around 11% (10.9% on the standard variable estimated annual bill) on . Electricity and gas rates increased. The standard 24-hour rate is now 44.00c/kWh and Flogas lists no new-customer discount plan; the 28% loyalty discount is for existing customers only.
Flogas announced on 19 June 2026 that residential electricity bills would rise by approximately 11% (10.9% on the CRU estimated annual bill, about €4.11 a week) and gas by approximately 12% (11.8%, about €3.47 a week) from 20 July 2026. It applies to variable price plans only; fixed-rate contracts are unaffected, and Flogas says customers on a discounted product see a smaller increase.

A typical 4.4 kWp rooftop system offsets roughly 40 to 60% of a home's imports over a year, more with a battery, so the share of your bill exposed to Flogas's new unit rate shrinks by about the same amount. Surplus is paid for under the Clean Export Guarantee, which Flogas pays at 18.50 c/kWh.
