What it means for a typical home
A home using 4,200 kWh a year, the CRU's typical urban figure, pays about €135 more a year on the Bord Gáis Energy plan we track once the change lands: roughly €11 a month or €2.60 a week. The annual bill moves from €1,538 to €1,673.
