Solar Compare

Solar Compare Ireland completed our job in the summer of 2023. We decided to go with a 10 kilowatt hour Huawei battery storage system with Hyundai solar panels. Delighted with the system and its performance so far. Anthony and the team were neat and tidy and did an excellent job. Their after sales care team was also very good with helping with the grants and application to the grid. I would definitely recommend solar compare

Our experience with Solar Compare was extremely pleasant & efficient. Anthony called to our house for an inspection & sat down to go over all the possibilities & costs involved. We went with installing 16 panels. Eddie for hot water & Zappi for charging the car. On Anthonys recommendation we also opted for a battery which was an excellent decision as we charge at night on the low ev rate & discharges by day saving us money. Solar Compare completed all the paperwork for the grant & for the FIT payments. I would have no hesitation in recommending Solar Compare to anyone considering installing panels.

Anthony and Jennifer from Solar Compare were very efficient when responding to our request for a quote and sending us the information required. The installers and electricians arrived to our house as planned and completed the work to a high standard.

We got a solar PV system from Solar Compare installed on our house in November 2020. We found Solar Compare excellent to deal with in every area, especially their advice on the system to get that would work best for us and their assistance with the SEAI grant. The installation was done quickly and professionally. We found the after sales service and advice from Anthony and the team at Solar Compare to be very good. 2 years later we can say are very happy with the system and it is giving substantial savings on our electricity bill with the bonus of credit for excess electricity to the grid (not to mention the very beneficial environmental side to having a solar PV system in place!). We would recommend Solar PV to anyone thinking of it and Solar Compare as a provider.

I found Solar Compare to be an excellent company to deal with. Solar Compare came and surveyed my house and they gave me several options on what would suit . Installation was done quickly and tidely with no fuss. A wifi problem that occurred a few months later was dealt with by a service man who arrived promptly to repair. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone wishing to install solar panels. Since writing this review I got 4 new panels off solar compare which after 10 months are still not working and to make matters worst when they tried to repair the fault they left me without any panels working at all . It is now 6 months on and I cannot get any communication either by phone or email since January. After sales service non existant. I am totally disgusted with them. Since I put up this review I got an engineer from givenergy in England to check my system and he confirmed that polarity of the solar panel strings was wired incorrectly. I sent the report to solar compare who then contacted me to say that they would resolve the issue and pay compensation for loss generation . They told me to take down the above NEGATIVE REVIEW or they would not come and change the inverter. I took down the review but it is now a year and they still have not come. They phoned to say they were coming to fit a new system. I asked for specifications of the system, the qualification and competence of the installer. Which I believe to be a reasonable request. I have heard nothing since which asks the question, was it just another false promise or the could they not verify the competence of their installer. Solar Compare i still await my system repair and compensation as promised. Shame on you.
