An absolute pleasure to deal with. The only company to send someone to visit the site, Anthony and the office staff were always available for any questions and we couldn’t be happier with the installation. Seamless installation (over one weekend by the way!) and already generating sustainable energy for the school! I would not hesitate in recommending this company for any school, business or residence.

Our experience with Solar Compare was extremely pleasant & efficient. Anthony called to our house for an inspection & sat down to go over all the possibilities & costs involved. We went with installing 16 panels. Eddie for hot water & Zappi for charging the car. On Anthonys recommendation we also opted for a battery which was an excellent decision as we charge at night on the low ev rate & discharges by day saving us money. Solar Compare completed all the paperwork for the grant & for the FIT payments. I would have no hesitation in recommending Solar Compare to anyone considering installing panels.

Solar compare were professional and did very good work. They supported us through the SEAI grant process really well and dealt with everything from planning out options to installation. A great company to deal with.

Hi , Solar Compare installed my 18 PV panels , inverter & 5kw battery in January 2022 and the system has operated very well since . installation was very smooth and involved a number of different teams who were all very easy deal with and cleaned up after themselves . Found Anthony hard to contact the odd time but once you got “hold him” , he’s a grand lad to deal with . I recommended SC to my sister who recently installed her 18 panels

Albeit very nervous about Solar Panels on the roof, Solar Compare were super at explaining everything. The panels were instaled without fuss, battery and car charger also fitted excellently. Solar Compare installed 10 panels on my roof in 2022. Installation was really quick and very efficiently carried out by Solar Compare team. All issues including grant management /BER ratings etc! were followed up and managed fully and completed . I was very impressed with all aspects of the installation process and customer engagement with Solar Compare team. Totally professional from start to finish. Couldn't be happier with job and subsequent savings.

I found Solar Compare to be an excellent company to deal with. Solar Compare came and surveyed my house and they gave me several options on what would suit . Installation was done quickly and tidely with no fuss. A wifi problem that occurred a few months later was dealt with by a service man who arrived promptly to repair. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone wishing to install solar panels. Since writing this review I got 4 new panels off solar compare which after 10 months are still not working and to make matters worst when they tried to repair the fault they left me without any panels working at all . It is now 6 months on and I cannot get any communication either by phone or email since January. After sales service non existant. I am totally disgusted with them. Since I put up this review I got an engineer from givenergy in England to check my system and he confirmed that polarity of the solar panel strings was wired incorrectly. I sent the report to solar compare who then contacted me to say that they would resolve the issue and pay compensation for loss generation . They told me to take down the above NEGATIVE REVIEW or they would not come and change the inverter. I took down the review but it is now a year and they still have not come. They phoned to say they were coming to fit a new system. I asked for specifications of the system, the qualification and competence of the installer. Which I believe to be a reasonable request. I have heard nothing since which asks the question, was it just another false promise or the could they not verify the competence of their installer. Solar Compare i still await my system repair and compensation as promised. Shame on you.

Solar compare were very responsive to my initial queries and scheduled an on-site consultation straight away. They offered a range of options at very competitive prices. Installation was delivered on time and without issue, and follow up support has been excellent. Highly recommended.

Solar Compare were simply incredible to work with. Helped us make the best choice for our house. Installation and commissioning of the system was flawless. We've made huge savings with our generation and battery storage system. I would thoroughly recommend Solar Compare as they were also recommend to me by my Electrical Engineer colleague, who knows his stuff and has very high standards.

We were very satisfied with Stephen who guided us through the process and arranged a very competitive price for the system. The solar panel installers were excellent. Solar compare has very good choice of system and a competitive price, the price offers were transparent. Scheduling of works was straightforward, also after sales was good ( a couple of minor issues highlighted seai inspector were sorted very quickly with no hassle). I highly recommend solar panels as they easily pay for themselves in 12 or 13 years. It’s great to have negative electricity bills in the summer with more hot water than we can use. They installed our system nearly 2 years ago.

Recently had solar panels installed by Solar Compare having spoken with 8 different companies. From the outset, everything was first class. Anthony was honest and decent and the two men who installed the panels ( McManus - father and son) were a pleasure to deal with. The work was exceptionally good, efficient and well priced. I would have no hesitation in recommending Solar Compare to anyone.

Worked with Anthony and his team on adding solar panels to our home. The entire process from quotation to installation went smoothly, even with our Irish weather the installers done a fantastic job working through it. Solar Compare Ireland completed our job in the summer of 2023. We decided to go with a 10 kilowatt hour Huawei battery storage system with Hyundai solar panels. Delighted with the system and its performance so far. Anthony and the team were neat and tidy and did an excellent job. I was very happy with the service overall. I was looked after during the consultation phase in an appropriate manner,no push for any other service,only that I wanted. Everything was explained clearly and no hidden charges. The installation was done in one day,and the team was excellent. After the installation, everything was explained about my system and the online platform as well. My solar panel installation was chosen for an audit by the SEAI to make sure everything is installed properly and I had received all the relevant information as a costumer by the company.The audit passed with no issues,the grant arrived in timely manner. The company is contactable if I have any other questions about the system and provides me support.I can highly recommend the company and their service.

We got a solar PV system from Solar Compare installed on our house in November 2020. We found Solar Compare excellent to deal with in every area, especially their advice on the system to get that would work best for us and their assistance with the SEAI grant. The installation was done quickly and professionally. We found the after sales service and advice from Anthony and the team at Solar Compare to be very good. 2 years later we can say are very happy with the system and it is giving substantial savings on our electricity bill with the bonus of credit for excess electricity to the grid (not to mention the very beneficial environmental side to having a solar PV system in place!). We would recommend Solar PV to anyone thinking of it and Solar Compare as a provider.
