Very pleased with our solar install. Shane was in charge of the the panel installation and they came when expected and did a fine job under very difficult, wet January conditions. Donal and Oisín then did all the wiring and set up the app. It was quick, efficient and altogether a pleasant experience.

I am very happy with my ground solar panels and battery installation so carefully erected by Donal. The ground works in the garden were professionally carried out. Juliana handled the grant application, so I didn’t have anything to do with the set up. With storm season imminent it’s reassuring to know that I have a back up electrical supply in the event of a power outage, all thanks to Juliana and Donal for an efficient, cost effective solar system for the future.

I recently had solar panels, batteries and an EV charger installed by Abhaile Solar and I'm really happy with the whole experience. What really stood out was that Donal and Oisin are actual electricians who do the installations themselves, not just salespeople. I'd had a few other companies send round sales reps who didn't really know the technical side of things and couldn't answer my questions properly - they'd just say "I'll check with the installer and get back to you." It was so much better dealing with people who actually know what they're doing and could explain everything clearly on the spot. Juliana was brilliant too - she was always quick to respond whenever I had any queries. Their pricing was competitive as well, which sealed the deal for me. Would definitely recommend them.

Highly recommend Donal and the Abhaile Solar team. After a lot of research, I went with Abhaile Solar as Donal gave reliable guidance on the best solution for me, they offer one of the most future proof and highest performing solar systems I could find (Sigenergy with 475Kw panel) and their quote was very competitive. Once I gave them the go head Juliana took over and seamlessly managed everything from quotation to invoicing, grant application to BER and issuing of warranty documentation. Donal and the lads turned up when agreed and finished on time. I went with a Sigen inverter and 9Kwh battery with 24 panels.

Abhaile Solar took care of everything from doing a site survey, quotations, all the SEAI paperwork for grant approval, NC6 microgen registration and arranging post BER certification. Juliana kept me up to date on the whole process from start to finish. Donal and his team carried out a very clean install of a Sigenergy system on a property with a tricky roof setup, during a very busy period with inclement weather conditions. Already seeing the savings by EV night rate charging and solar generation during the day while approaching Winter and hoping to see the full potential once Spring and Summer arrive.

Donal and the team did a great installation at my house in Kinvara. The initial quote was very competitive, the process was very smooth, communication before during and after the job was excellent. Any minor glitches were dealt with promptly and satisfactorily. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Great service from Donal and the crew at Abhile solar. They arrived when they said they would arrive, gave a very detailed quote and were competitively priced. Our roof was tricky with velux windows and a south east and south west orientation but the 3 roofers were finished in one day. 22panels and 18kwh of sigenstor batteries that is preforming far beyond what we expected. I would give 6 stars if I could. Excellent product and amazing service. The entire process was so easy and speedy and the system is working amazingly well. They were extremely knowledgeable and willing to listen to exactly what we wanted and needed from our system.

Can't recommend Abhaile Solar enough. From day 1 in getting quotes from providers, Donal was the only one to come out and do a site visit. No hard sales pitch, selling one system over the other etc., just answered any questions I had and outlined what the options were. Very competitive quote given and very happy we decided to choose Abhaile Solar for our solar install. Team came to install panels on the roof on the day agreed. The team then came the 2nd day, on the day agreed, to hook it all up and install battery (and a generator plug too). Fast, efficient and tidy work. Was up and running with solar in no time and it's been powering all our daily needs over the last couple of days. Thanks to Donal and team for everything.

I cannot recommend Abhaile more highly. Dealing with them was straightforward and friendly. They turned up when they said they would, their quote was easy to follow and they welcomed questions and answered them clearly. They gave me options to consider and followed through in a timely fashion. When they came to do the work there were three men working away efficiently and they were very tidy. They organised the grant and the other professionals who had to come and assess the work for the BER certificate - and they were also very easy to deal with. The system they recommended for me is working very well, saving me a fortune already and I love that I can see the solar inputs on the display unit they provided and on my phone. I would not hesitate - call them today!

From first contact with Abhaile Solar & Electrical Ltd we have had only the best experience. Donal visited the site, carried out a preliminary survey and acquired the necessary information. He quickly followed up with a quotation, but there was much more than the quotation. He then came back and offered some proposals and explained each idea. He provided us with as much information as we required in order to understand his suggestions. We had a little time to consider and when we made our decision to go ahead, Donal and his team were back on site in about 3 weeks. The completed installation was commissioned on the second day and the sun was shining. The system has been producing energy every day since, with best results showing on the sunnier days. All of the team were courteous and helpful, getting the work done in double quick time. There is An app linked to the solar panels and in house fuse board, showing all the detail of energy production and usage. Following an introduction and tutorial by Donal on details of the app, it is easy to understand and is user friendly.

Donal and team recently fitted a 12 panel solar PV array with 5kW battery at our house in Oranmore. We had look at a few different installers but were particularly impress with Donal's knowledge and approachability. The initial quote and details gave us great break down of what to expect from the system...Essentially is was a no brainer to go with it. We also availed of the new build discount...20% off on new builds, this made the offer very competitive. The quality of the install was super. The guys were quick to decide on routing of cables and left us with a super tidy system that is now earning us cash and more importantly (for us) making out household more sustainable.
