What customers say on
We had the privilege of employing Planet Blue to install our 24 solar panels, Anker Inverter and a10kw battery. Six weeks later we could not be more happy with both the quality of the product and the service as our electricity bills have been reduced to practically zero. Planet Blue are an excellent company. The installation was seamless and quick with next to no disruption to our day to day. The engineers were delightful to engage with and highly professional. Upon completion of works Frans was on hand to set up the system on the app and provided great guidance on its optimal usage. In the days that followed we received several follow up phone calls from the Planet Blue customer service team to reassure any concerns we may have had. Finally a huge thanks must go to Leo Hogan the CEO who we had the pleasure of dealing with from the get go. A gentleman of the highest standard, he was constant support through the whole project and was always available to discuss any issues regarding the system. We would highly recommend Planet Blue to anyone.
We are a privately owned Waste Water Treatment Plant in north Galway. We made the decision to install solar panels. After many searches and different conversations with solar panel companies, we felt that Planet Blue took the time to understand our needs. They put together a system that gave us the best outcome. Our installation date was confirmed and the team arrived on schedule. I highly recommend Planet Blue, both on the quality of their product and the installation. I was kept informed throughout the process about all aspects of the project. It was a big decision for our community to make this investment, and we are very grateful to Planet Blue, especially Ger & Frans for making our decision easier.
Delighted with the work, the installation team and the results. I recommend this company. Nigel Murtagh, Donegal October: just got my first bill since installation (a few days ago). I was actually in credit! Happy Days.
Hi, we installed in May '25. We found Planet Blue to be efficient and informative. 'Solar West' did the installation, it's evident that both parties have good communication, as when we did need a follow up there was a quick response. We're happy with the work and are enjoying the benefits.
Met Planet Blue energy at Ideal Home Show in RDS. Had a few consultations with other companies but decided to go with Planet Blue. Excellent throughout from initial visit to site survey and installation could not fault in any way. Alexandra in sales and Frans who have been excellent. The installation team were great bunch of lads, very polite and left my house spotless. The app was explained to me before they left my home. I would highly recommend Planet Blue energy to anyone interested in Solar panels. Thanks for a great service.
Kerry's dairy sector and farm solar synergy
Kerry is home to Kerry Group, one of the world's largest dairy companies, and the county has a dense network of dairy farms, particularly around Listowel, Tralee, and Castleisland. Dairy farms use significant electricity for milking machines, bulk tank cooling, and water heating, with demand peaking in morning and evening milking times. Solar generation during midday hours can be stored in batteries or diverted to water heating, reducing farm electricity bills by 30-40% when combined with smart energy management.
