What customers say on
We had a superb experience with Tirconaill Renewables from start to finish and I would highly recommend them. They were very thorough when providing the initial quotation and gave us excellent information about both the installation process and how the panels would work and benefit us over the coming years. Once we agreed to use them they gave us a quick turnaround with installation date, they arrived on time and completed the work within a day and a half. They kept everything clean and tidy and explained everything once finished. We have just had an inspection of the installation by SEAI and they were hugely complimentary about the work that had been carried out and the quality of materials used. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
From start to finish I couldn't commend Tirconaill Renewables enough. Excellent team from start to finish. We got 22 panels installed in a very exposed area and the workmanship held up through one of the worst storms in history. They were only happy to come back out to inspect the system on my request to make sure all was still secure. With customer aftercare like that I wouldn't hesitate to use Tirconaill Renewables again. 5 stars
Wind exposure requires robust mounting on Donegal properties
Donegal is one of the windiest counties in Ireland, and coastal properties from Fanad to Arranmore Island experience extreme wind loading. Solar panel mounting systems in exposed Donegal locations must be rated for higher wind speeds, and installers may recommend flush-mounted systems rather than tilted frames to reduce wind resistance. Inland areas around Letterkenny, Ballybofey, and Stranorlar are more sheltered and face fewer wind-related installation constraints.
