I was dealing with Ken Gallagher solely by email and phone. I found him to be very knowledgeable, easy to contact and had a very courteous manner. He organised submissions to SEAI and coordinated the sub-contractors work. Tom Finn and his brother Michael installed the heat pump in a very efficient manner. Francis Rogers and his crew of Powersol put up the ground-mounted PV panels and did a very neat job putting the inverter and two batteries in the garage. A couple of other workers put additional insulation in the attic. From initial contact with Ken to completion took 2 months. A happy customer here in Knockcroghery, Co. Roscommon.

My elderly and vulnerable mother has been abandoned by one of your contractors. The house has been ready, at their insistence, since July 28th and she was due to have her home wrap around completed circa mid August. Then we were told that the wrap around work was to commence on August 25th. It is now September 12th, and while the scaffolding has been erected, the actual works have not commenced. The plumber has decommissioned her new air to water heating system so as to accommodate the wrapping of the property. However, the main foreperson for the job, has become non contactable and the job itself seems to be abandoned. So much so, that the plumber arrived back out yesterday assuming that the works had been completed, only to find nothing had been done. Needless to say, he was surprised too. So he left all as it was and went off about his business, leaving my poor mother with no heat, no fireplace to light a fire, as this has already been removed, and the chimney blocked, and no idea of when to expect to be able to warm herself in her own home. The nights are steadily getting cooler now and this has now become an emergency situation. So any company that would make an unconscionable decision to leave a 76 year old lady with no heating in the Autumn months, and no communication to say when works will recommence, if ever, don't deserve to be in business, nevermind being a SEAI contractor. This company is an absolutely shambolic disgrace, and a bunch of shysters. I have to give one star to write this, but I'd prefer to not have to give any stars, or give my time to have to write this review. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Had a full assessment done. Fully paid in advance. The survey was generic and did notvtake into account any specificity of the house. The house photo was the neighbours house with a garage. The work done to date (before we bought the house) was not taken into account. We bought the house 4 years ago, ber was a C. We have upgraded windows and starting point is now a D, despite certificates. When we spoke to the person explaining the report, it sounded like they had no knowledge of the house and all question were answered by maybe, I am not sure, regarding which wall can/ can't be insulated from the outside. They have no clue what they are doing, the quotes are crazy compare to the market. This is a con. Stay away from them at all cost.

Had my retrofit done by these guys a while back. Work included installation of a heat pump, wrap and new windows and doors. The quality of the heat pump installation was very good, this was done by a company now acquired by OHK energy I believe. Windows and doors were done by Leinster Home and Windows. We weren't impressed by them as they left us with a window that had water stains in one of the pains and another that had cracks on the seals. The project management side of things was atrocious. Due to poor project management, the wrapping of my house took 2 and a half months to complete. That meant there was scaffolding and blue sheets across the windows for 2 and a half months and a skip in the garden. I was also charged 800 euro to have my chimney "blocked". This was a small bit of insulation board and some spray foam at the entrance of the chimney flute. I didn't complain about it as I got an extra door that wasn't budgeted for. When work is completed you're supposed to get a pack that has all your certificates and stuff like that, I received this a year after the work was completed. Taking everything into consideration, I wouldn't recommend these guys. Shop around for better One Stop Shops.
