Professional and Efficient Gas Boiler Installation

Our gas boiler needed urgent replacing on 22rd Dec, we contacted some of the main Gas Installers with survey dates only available in January. We made contact with John Roland @ Churchfield and explained our predicament, we received a very reassuring and we can do it response, the next morning at 8am an installer with a new boiler started the replacement. By lunchtime we were up and running. Daniel was very professional and courteous and cleared and removed all the rubbish. We can highly recommend their service and given the short notice the price was very reasonable.

We recently got Churchfield to insulate a wrap around on the outside of our house during the second half of October. Heat retention has improved significantly. Thr service provided by all the people in Churchfield was excellent from my initial contact with the office (Chloe) surveyor (Stephen) to project manager (Conor) to the team doing the actual insulation. Work was completed to a high standard. Team onsite cleaned up at the end of each day. Conor outlined process at start and during work ensuring that we were aware of next steps. Conor carried out a detailed inspection at the end. Churchfield arranged the paperwork for the grant which was paid by SEAI a month after work was completed.

I'm very happy to give Church field Home Services the highest recommendation for the work they carried out which was the external insulation and ventilation upgrades on my house. The project manager Mr. Brian Kirby was excellent and courteous at all times. He had a great team who arrived every morning as arranged, carried out the work diligently and kept the house clean and tidy throughout the whole project.They were so professional. I would definitely recommend Churchfield to anyone looking to get home improvements done. Thank you Mr. Kirby for making such a large job seamless from start to finish.

I recently completed a full house retrofit with Churchfield Home Services, and the experience was exceptional. The project included new windows and doors, external insulation, solar panels, and an air-to-heat pump system. My home improved from a BER rating of E to A1, which is remarkable. The entire team demonstrated professionalism and respect throughout the process. Despite living in the property during the works, disruption was minimal, and the crew maintained a clean and organised environment at all times. Marius (Project Supervisor) for outstanding communication, coordination and patience! He kept me informed at every stage and ensured smooth delivery. Churchfield also handled all the necessary paperwork, making the process stress-free. Their aftercare service has been equally impressive. We’ve just finished having external insulation, some internal insulation work and solar panels & EV charger added to our house in Co. Dublin. Churchfield were brilliant from start to finish. The pre-work advice was excellent, Alex and his external insulation crew were great to have on-site and Jake and the electrical team were brilliant to deal with - nothing was too much trouble and they were patient as we got our heads around new apps and controls. Brian Kirby our project manager was central to the successful delivery of the project - excellent advice, constant communication, deadlines set and kept at various stages and a pleasure to deal with throughout. I can’t recommend Churchfield highly enough.

Churchfield was recommended to me as the market leader in home energy upgrades and that couldn't be more truthful. We were guided through the initial stages of assessment and project planning by Gavin, who was so helpful in answering any questions and queries we had in relation the process. We went for a full energy upgrade including solar, external wall insulation, windows and doors and an upgrade to our heating system. Brian was our project manager and having him out on site coordinating all the moving pieces was invaluable. The success of the project is testimony to Brian's orgainisation and attention to detail. Alex and his team carried out the external wall insulation. The were so hard working and efficient. They transformed the outside appearance of an old bungalow in a matter of days! Jake and his team of electricians installed our solar panels and were so patient in setting them up and explaining the application to us. Danny and his team of plumbers upgraded the heating system and hot water tanks. They were so professional and helpful when we had minor issues after the fact, they were very prompt in calling back out to us and were always at the end of the phone. Overall I couldn't recommend churchfield enough, all the staff were a pleasure to have in the house. The house inside and outside were left spotless after the work had been complete. Every step of the project was explained clearly and projected timelines were clear and adhered to!

I couldn’t be happier with the job Conor and Cosmin and the team from churchfield home services did on my property. The external wrap was absolutely perfect — not a single fault to be found anywhere. Their attention to detail was outstanding, and the quality of their work really shows. Great experience with Churchfield who did a full external insulation wrap with partial brick facing and an attic upgrade. The house is so much warmer now than previously. Pat Coyle (sales), Conor (proj mgt) and Cosmin (crew chief) were all excellent to deal with. It was a big project with multiple passive and mechanical vents and a lot of wall attachments that had to be removed and reinstalled. I’d highly recommend Churchfield if you need an energy upgrade.

I had church field in two years ago to do insulation and ventilation on my three bed semi detached house insulation is fantastic house is so warm.regarding the ventilation since I’ve had a vent put in to my en suite bathroom via the attic massive mould has grown on the ceiling since we had it done even though we open the window after every shower.Cian responded straight away when I messaged him to explain this and he sent someone out that told me it was dry in the vent (summer and we had a heat wave) and doesn’t know how the mould is getting on the ceiling that’s the last i heard from them cian has stopped responding to my texts which I think is very unprofessional.ill be looking in to the ombudsman to rectify this as this should not be happening.ann marie stafford

We have just completed a home retro fit with Churchfield home services. The one stop shop proved how easy it can be. They managed all the logistics of attic insulation, external walk insulation and solar panels. Marius our project manager gave us prior notice of all the timetable for the different teams involved. The workers were not only hardworking and efficient but also very courteous .

I rang churchfield for a price on external insulation on my 3 bas semi detached house. The call center was very nice and arranged for a surveyor to be in contact with us to give us a price. The surveyor callee us and all he wanted to do was to give us a price from Google maps, I told him the house had an extension and looked different than Google maps. I told him we had a builder who gave us a price 2 years ago and had an idea of the cost, but would like a costing off them. His attitude changes to give me the builder price and ill give you one. I told him I wouldn't as I wanted a competitive price not price matching. He was rude and said this job wasn't suitable for them. Near miss as miss as far as im concerned, they want to take short cuts on pricing what shortcuts will they take on their work

We have recently had our home externally insulated and our boiler upgraded by Church field home services. Full retro fit completed about a month…

Full retro fit completed about a month ago and best decision ever made to bring this old house up to A BER level. The whole team, project management, sales & customer care keep you up dated on every step to completion. They kept disruption to the minimal levels possible which meant I could still work at home. I didnt think that was possible given the levels of works involved. Thanks again and I would highly recommend.

House Insulation - Joan & Frank Dublin 8

We recently had an attic and external insulation project completed on our house. Ger Lawlor and Gary did the initial work. The crew, who did the work, were some of the best workers we've ever had. They arrived early, worked all day and were most courteous in all their dealings with us. Cosmin Luca and Conor Fitzpatrick kept us fully informed and visited regularly. The team cleaned up every evening and left the place spic and span at the end of the job. The final job has been highly praised by our neighbours and even passers by have commented positively. We have ended up with what looks like a new house. Cosmin & Conor have called since to check all is well. We would highly recommend this company.

Dreadful experience

Dreadful experience. Left with the wrong boiler, ruined a new carpet, hole left in ceiling, took twice as long as was stated on top of that tried to over charge for work that was never agreed. Followed up with Churchfield and was told incorrect information and nothing can be done now. Stuck with this for years now and €3000 out of pocket, beyond disappointed. The project manager Brian Kirby told me in advance when the work was starting. He was onsite every day to answer any questions I had. The guys doing the work arrived on time and were very polite. Churchfield done an excellent job on my home. Extremely professional company to deal with. There was constant engagement with the Project Manager Sean Keane. The men that worked on the job were very tidy and very skilled workers. My home is now warm and cosy. The outside of my property looks like a new build. Simply can't fault the workers

Simply can't fault the workers. However, you can tell who the cokehead in charge is, and also one of the contractors gives off major criminal vibes. I haven't mentioned your names so leave me alone. Perhaps the glowing reviews are from men, but, as a woman, you can really get to see the bullsheet. I was told by an incredibly high man that undercoat is not needed on wood, that what I was thinking of ,was ,in fact ,wood that had years and years of paint. Spoke to me like I was 5! I fear people who are altered chemically, so just let it fall, you honestly don't know what junkies will do, whether they have a job or not. The criminal type came out to have a shot at being a man, sent him home when he was trying to get me to argue with him. We'd had to undertake a lot of dismantling that they should have done, we'd been scared into it by a pre-works call out Croatian guy I believe, I've been told that was peculiar, so pretty much a little game was going on where I was supposed to get angry, I believe is how the shtick works. I felt quite fearful, bad vibes. Keep the fun times for your own time lads. You have wives, mothers , all manner of women in your lives, cop on. I wasn't putting my name on it for reasons stated above, in response to your reply, it was best not to identify the specific customers because of the content of my review, no way would I engage with a company like yours, transparent attempt to throw doubt at the review's authenticity too btw

An excellent. professional company who take great pride in their work

I recently got my external walls and attic insulated by Churchfield Home Services and was extremely pleased with the result. Not only is my home much warmer now, but the newly rendered walls and new pipe fittings have transformed the place into a beautiful home. The place looks fantastic. Everyone from the company I dealt with from beginning to end, was pleasant and efficient. The big job of installation was carried out by a team of men who took great pride in their work. A special word of thanks to Marius, the project worker whose support was greatly appreciated and whose advice proved invaluable, especially in dealing with other service companies. Churchfield Home Services are excellent, I heard so much great things about them before they started from others. So our exceptions were high and they delivered on that . The finish was perfect. Tomas and Alex were our crew from Churchfield,very hard workers, kept the places very tidy while working and cleaned up after work. With children with Autism they kept the site safe and tidy. It's the little things they did for us that really counted ,like I broke a vent ,straight away fix it. Project Manager Seán on site loads of time with great advance. Churchfield Are Simply The Best When It Comes To Retrofitting Your Home.

When the oil burner finally packed up in our semi-d, in early 2022, after 33 long years of service, we knew it was high time for us to go green. After consulting with SEAI, and researching the industry, including a lot of references, we engaged Churchfield Home Services. And boy were we glad. We cannot recommend CHS, & their whole team, highly enough. The project commenced with Estimator, Ger Lawlor, arranging for a complete pre-works survey, incl. BER, & then advising us on our options. We agreed on the One Stop Shop approach which included a complete & detailed retrofit design. A detailed cost estimate, in the form of a pricing document, was then prepared & presented for our agreement. A significant deciding factor for us was that, under the One Stop Shop system, SEAI cover 33.3% of the total project cost (subject to conditions, easily achieved by CHS). In summary, the works consisted of External Wall Insulation, Heat Pump & Heating Distribution Installation, Attic Insulation, & all associated miscellaneous works e.g. brick slips, vents, controls, etc. (We had installed new double glazed windows & doors throughout the house a no. of years earlier, so this was not now required.) Once the Contract was agreed & signed, the Project Manager, Cosmin Luca, then programmed, scheduled & oversaw the works, in a timely & cost-efficient manner. Cosmin was always at the end of the phone keeping us informed & providing answers to any queries we had. He ensured that the site works were completed within the 6 week window, as promised. Cosmin also introduced us to other members of the Team, incl. Tom & Gary, who all ensured that the retrofit was completed in a most professional manner. There was little or no mess left behind. Even after we sought 1 or 2 minor variations & additions, Cosmin ensured that any additional costs were kept to a minimum. We even received a refund on the initial contract price thanks to savings Cosmin was able to implement on site on our behalf. Another key member of the Team, John Rowland, was responsible for ensuring that everything worked as it should. John also acted as 'Sweeper' and dealt very professionally with the small handful of snags that always arise at the end of any construction project. And we know that CHS is at the end of the phone, if ever we need them, for routine maintenance, etc. We are now the proud owners of a warm & toasty house. An App on our phones, & a quick walk through it by John R, means we can control the temperature upstairs & downstairs from wherever we happen to be. The hot water is also controlled by this App. We sleep soundly now knowing we have a warm comfy house, with no draughts or leaks, and our carbon footprint has been radically overhauled. Finally a big thank you must go out to Lorna & Coroline in HQ for keeping the invoices within expectations. So thank you to every member of the Team, for your guidance, for your professionalism & for a job well done, on time & within budget. We could not ask for more. Accordingly, we have no hesitation in highly recommending CHS to anyone looking to retrofit their home. Best regards & all the best to CHS for the many projects we see ahead of you. From start to finish it was the perfect company to deal with . I work in architecture and design and know that getting exterior insulation can be a messy and presise job . Have wanted to get done for a couple of years but never felt comfortable until Churchfields. Hands down the best company I have dealt with . From start to finish they could not have done more . Clear communication and everything finished to a very high standard. Everyone I dealt with were fantastic and professional. My project manager was Cosmin Luca, proactive and professional as well as a great guy . All work was carried out by Dany and his team who went above and beyond. I had this crowd in over a year ago to…

I had this crowd in over a year ago to do a job, what i asked for is totally different to what i got. how can i pay a couple of thousand euro and my house be colder. i since have had three other companies in to view the work, all of whom told me the job they done was a waste of time and money because the heat is flying out my roof after they told me to remove all my Rockwell and plasterboard and told me this was how it should be. and the ber Asser they sent out hadn't got a clue. he spent an hour walking around my house for no reason. if you do use this crowd, please be sure to get the job looked at by an independent Asser. i am now spending another 2000 to fix the mess they caused.

Never have I dealt with such a helpful company

The whole team from Churchfield were so professional, so helpful and so patient. Cosmin my project manager took calls outside of working hours to answer every query I had. The lads particularly, Florin and Adrian, who did the external walls,were punctual, friendly and worked hard all day in all types of weather. Shane converted my heating and did a fantastic job. And boy, did he have a lot of piping to sort out. Caroline, the receptionist, was phoned almost daily. She had the patience of a saint and organised all the paperwork among other things. Once the work started it went smoothly and I now live in a beautifully warm house. Well done and thank you to everyone, I can't believe the difference in my house.
