Great experience with ashgrove. Mike Dennehy the sales adviser was outstanding from start to finish and even helped with getting us the right rates from the different providers out there. The phone was always answered even on a Saturday when we had a question. Looking forward to seeing the benefit of the panels in the coming months.

When you speak to Ashgrove if you're getting a heat pump ask them if they know what R290 is. They won't because they're too busy offloading all of their old R32 heat pumps. We considered Ashgrove. But luckily we weren't trapped by the 'one stop shop' fiasco. It meant we got a significantly better solar PV system (Sigenergy with an 8kW battery) at a much better price than Ashgrove could ever offer. Our solar PV panels are thankfully not Jinko, which Ashgrove supply and those panels have been linked to forced labour in China. We also got triple glazed windows independently which were less than the Ashgrove quote even without the SEAI grant which didn't exist for indepently upgrading windows and doors in December 2024. Look here last. You won't regret it. Ashgrove may be one of the biggest. They're certainly not one of the best.

Got great support from Mike Dennehy all along the way. From Cormac, Karlton and the gang and Mags in the office too. Malcom and his crew had the panels up quickly and efficiently all without any disruption. Alan and the lads connected it all up and I was up and running quickly. 3 days in and all good so far including one very bright Saturday where I ended up selling back to the grid.

An absolute pleasure dealing with Ashgrove Team. From the 1st call to the handover, I was genuinely amazed by the efficiency, professionalism, quality and value for money experience, something that is very rare these days. We got three quotes for our solar PV installation, and Ashgrove offered by far the best configuration at the best price. I was surprised how different the proposed layouts were between companies — some even suggested panels on less optimal sides of the house. Ashgrove clearly put the most thought into maximising solar gain, and it showed in the final design. There are definitely a few cowboys out there, but Ashgrove stood out for their expertise. We dealt with Cormac (one of the directors) and Mike, our local rep. Both were extremely knowledgeable and worked with us to design a great system. We were given the choice between 440W and larger 580W panels, and opted for the bigger ones to make the best use of our roof space. Mike organised everything from start to finish, including all the grant paperwork, which made the whole process completely hassle-free. No fluff, just straightforward and easy to deal with. The panels were installed within a couple of weeks of ordering, and the electricians came shortly after to connect everything. They were very tidy and took the time to walk me through the app setup. Ashgrove also has a dedicated support team available for any troubleshooting, which is reassuring. I’d definitely recommend getting multiple quotes to understand what configuration works best for your home — for us, Ashgrove were miles ahead in both design and value. We’re delighted with the system and are still in credit in December thanks to the strong summer generation. Thanks to the whole Ashgrove team.

Mike is an outstanding sales advisor, he went above and beyond what was required of his role to get my complex project over the line. I have to say I am very impressed with Ashgrove in general. But let me give specific credit to: Onora did a terrific job on the design, and redesign! The team members who arrived to my house separately, to assess what was to be the best solution. Starting off with the gentleman of them all John, then James and I think it was Pat (with the drone?), all very professional and generous with their technical knowledge, they made my understanding of what could be achieved and decision making very easy with each visit. Thank you all. I have since highly recommended Ashgrove to everyone I meet who is considering energy efficient and carbon reduction solutions for their homes. Ashgrove Renewables recently fitted our Solar Panels. From start to finish they were professional, reliable & so easy to deal with. The office support and communication is really good and every step is explained. We would have no hesitation in recommending Ashgrove Renewables.

I would highly recommend Ashgrove Renewables. I got both a 7.5kW solar panel system (No Battery) and a 12kW Mitsubishi Ecodan heat pump system installed by them and they are working great. They have great knowledge and were flexible with my requests. They were very professional and completed the work exactly when they said they would. They submitted all the paperwork for us in a timely manner to the SEAI. The heat pump trip switch broke in my fuse board and they came out that evening to replace it so their aftersales is excellent also. Our house went from a B2 to and A1 BER rating and our total bills for heating and electricity will be approximately €700 for the year. Our COP for our heat pump is 3.5 so this shows the fine tuning of the system by their engineer was done well.

many thanks to all of the team in Ashgrove. I purchases a solar system and felt fully supported throughout the process. Buying Solar is probably something you don't do too often, so you are a complete novice when making the significant purchasing decision. I got quotes from 3 suppliers and went with Ashgrove because they were very competitive on the price and have offices local to where I live, but the big selling point was the turnaround time from ordering. They had the panels installed and operating 4 weeks faster than any of the other competitors could offer. I went with a solar panels + string inverter, so no battery, but will certainly go back to Ashgrove when it is time to install a battery system.
