What customers say on
We recently had solar panels installed on our commercial unit and couldn't be happier with the results. The team was professional, efficient, and kept us informed throughout the process. The installation was smooth, and everything was up and running on schedule. We're already seeing the benefits in energy savings and are proud to be contributing to a greener future. Highly recommend!
When we were looking to install solar panels on the roof of our Warehouse we looked at the market for a competitive quote and knowledge with our supply needs for Solar Panels. We met Paul from Verde who put us at ease with his understanding of the solar market and his confidence in his products. Verde were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
Carrigaline Community School recently partnered with Verde Energy Group to install 114 solar panels on the roof of the school. Patrick, Daniel and all the team at Verde were very easy to deal with and took care of the paperwork/admin with no fuss. The project was cost positive to CCS and was described as a 'no brainer' when approved by our Board of Management. The work in school created little or no disruption and we are happy to recommend Verde to other schools.
We compared several suppliers and found Verde Energy to offer the best overall solution for the solar system installation at our warehouse. They were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Alan clearly explained our options, Mark managed the installation efficiently, and Denis provided invaluable technical support and was a massive help with our Export Licence and Grant application.
Pakform Ltd. went with Verde Energy to replace our factory Fluorescent lighting with LED light fittings. From the start we were impressed by how the Verde team communicated their technical knowledge regarding energy savings and the correct light fittings to use for the various areas. The installation was carried out by a professional crew of electricians who helped avoid disruption on the factory floor. Post installation we are very happy with the energy savings as well as the improvement in the general lighting throughout our factory.
Coastal wind and panel efficiency
A lesser-known advantage for Wexford is its consistent coastal breeze. Solar panels lose efficiency as they heat up — roughly 0.3% per degree Celsius above 25°C. Wexford's coastal winds keep panel surface temperatures lower than sheltered inland counties, meaning the panels operate closer to their rated efficiency for longer periods. This effect is most noticeable during the summer months when panels in sheltered locations can reach 50–60°C on hot days.
