What customers say on
We recently had a 20-panel 9.5kW ground-mounted solar system installed with a 10kW Dyness battery by Going Solar and the whole experience was excellent. A big thank you to Darren Tumilty who was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. The ground crew and electricians also did a fantastic job — the installation is incredibly neat and everything was finished to a very high standard. The team were punctual, professional, and took the time to explain the system properly before handing it over. We're delighted with the result and would happily recommend Going Solar to anyone considering solar.
Great company to deal with from initial contact, to the installation. Very helpful at advising best sized system to suit the workings of the household, and always on hand to take a phone call to answer any questions you think of between order and install.
Going Solar recently installed a solar panel system for me and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. From start to finish they were very professional and a pleasure to deal with.
Top class service and value from everyone at Go Solar. Great honest communication through from initial enquiry to installation.
From initial expression of interest to final installation and now post installation the experience with Go Solar (Resolute Engineering) has been top notch!
Royal Meath's heritage sites and planning considerations
Meath contains some of Ireland's most significant archaeological sites, including Newgrange, Knowth, and the Hill of Tara. Properties within the visual setting of these monuments or within designated areas of archaeological importance may face planning restrictions on visible solar panels. The Boyne Valley area between Slane and Drogheda is particularly sensitive. However, the vast majority of Meath's residential properties, especially in commuter towns, face no planning constraints for standard roof-mounted domestic solar systems.
