I would highly recommend using Aidan and Byrne Energy if you are thinking of installing solar panels. The whole process was seamless and all the work carried out was top quality and very neat. Aidan was very helpful throughout and was great for getting back to us with answers to all our questions before, during and after installation.

I would highly recommend Byrne Energy. They were exceptional. Aidan Byrne and his team were a pleasure to deal with. We had solar panels and batteries installed. The lads were fast, efficient and very informative. I had a number of quires after installation and Aidan immediately responded.

We had a great experience with Byrne Energy and can’t recommend them highly enough. Aidan’s quote was one of the most competitive we received, but what really set him apart was how well he listened to our needs and worked with us to design a solution that truly suited our situation. The installation itself went very smoothly. There was a slight delay due to an unforeseen event, but Aidan was very good at communicating on it and even offered a discount to make up for the inconvenience (which was completely not his fault), which we really appreciated. After everything was up and running, Aidan and his team returned a couple of times to check that the system was working optimally and to make sure we were comfortable using it. And the cherry on top: after the recent Eowyn storm, we were having trouble using the system completely off-grid alone. Aidan came out again to check everything (thankfully the panels were still solidly in place!) and helped us get sorted —especially valuable since the grid was down for most of that week. Byrne Energy goes above and beyond. If you're considering solar, talk to Aidan—you won’t regret it.

I recently had solar panels installed by Aidan Byrne and his team, and I couldn't be happier with the service and results. They explained the entire process clearly, making sure we understood every step, and the installation was completed on time and to a high standard. What impressed us most was how well the battery system and switch-over functioned during Storm Eowyn. Despite the severe weather, the panels held up, and we had enough power to keep us going. I got a recommendation from a trusted friend about Byrne energy. I'm very happy with the communications, the product, the installation, the price, and the functioning of the solar array that Aiden installed. He installed 7 solar panels on a small terraced house facing southwest, a five kilowatt battery, and connexion to the hot water cylinder. His team did a very neat job, leaving no mess. It's good to do business with a guy like Aiden.

We required a PV system for a new-build home and Aidan ensured that all first-fix / wiring requirements were installed during construction. This allowed ease-of-installation of the 15x panels, 2x 5kWh batteries, Inverter and all controls once the house was completed. Works were carried out very professionally by the Byrne Energy team in October 2024 and, since then, we have been reaping the benefits of the system. We recommend Aidan to anyone considering installing solar power.

I had 18 panels and a battery installed in August 2024 and I highly recommend Aidan and his team. The installation process was very tidy and all the teams involved were top notch. Really excellent service. The panels themselves were installed in a day and then another day to connect. As Aidan had already set up the connections and documentation with EI, from the first second of connection, the excess electricity was being sold back. 6 months without an electricity and counting. The app is also very good and the after service support was good as well. I only have good things to say.

I would highly recommend Aidan and his team. We got 16 panels and 2 batteries installed around 3 months ago. I had a lot of questions prior to installation, which Aidan was able to explain and simplify for me. His team were really efficient installing the panels. Since installation, I have been in contact with Aidan on a couple of occasions to sort out minor issues, and there has been excellent customer support. We are averaging around €100 in savings per month over Spring, so we are very happy overall.

I highly recommend Byrne Energy for your solar energy install. After researching lots of different installers and being disappointed with their responses I was recommended to contact Aidan, and I'm very glad I did. He talked me through the options for solar panels, a hot water diverter, and a battery in my house. He provided a straightforward, clear and competitive quote for the system and clearly explained everything that was going to be done and how it would be done, including how he could help with the SEAI grants. When it came time to install the team were efficient and tidy. This summer has been a good one for solar power but it has been amazing to see how much can be generated even as we head into winter.

Aidan installed panels and battery set up for us last May, after we'd talked to a few different suppliers for quotes/install. Found Aidan to be professional and courteous throughout the quoting phase with prompt and concise responses to queries both technical & approvals/grant applications. Install tool place as planned, no delays or issues, and minimal disruption for the duration of the works (working from home at the time) After sales service has been great, a small software issue resolved promptly with Aidan calling out to us next day. I have no hesitation in recommending Byrne Energy.
