Professional company from first interaction with sales team, roof panel installers and electricians. All in house trades for peace of mind. Arrived to site at scheduled times. Very quick and very little interruption to household during the install.

Unbelievably impressed with SolGrid. An investment of this size is always scary, but having experienced the professionalism of both the sales team (Charles) and the technical team, I couldn’t be happier. I had nine lads at my home across 2 days, and they operated like a well oiled machine. The system was installed precisely as designed, no issues, clean and tidy, answered all my questions and made the entire experience a joy. I cannot recommend them enough. As an engineer, I like to think I have a keen eye for detail, which is why I chose this company. Care was taken to spec the system as needed, used high quality components and a highly skilled team. One of the things that stood out to me, was how my suggestions were listed too. I had a few suggestions for cable rooting and equipment placement that would have made my life a little easier and rather than disregard these ideas to make their lives easier, they found a way to achieve my preferred outcome. I am very grateful. I couldn’t be happier.

I recently had a solar panel system and EV car charger installed by Solgrid, and couldn't be happier with the experience. The team were prompt, professional, and incredibly efficient throughout the entire process. Their workmanship was exceptionally tidy, and they took time to ensure everything was installed to a high standard. Our Solar Panels were installed at the end of November 2025. We are very pleased with the whole process. Our meetings and phone calls with Charles were very professional and he guided us through the whole process without a hitch. A gentleman. Thanks to Alan Burke and his roofing team. Ok got my solar panel installed a few weeks ago . Met Charles first he’s on the ball . Then electrician stopped by and explained everything in Detail . Next met Matt very informative and professional. Then all the lads came by and installed the panels. Charles stopped by afterwards to make sure I was 100% satisfied. Which I was it’s nice when you pay for a good product the job is done well tidy and professional.

I have never experienced such a professional team when upgrading my home in Galway. From the sales Rep, Charles, to organising the installation (Matthew) to the installers themselves (Jason and Steven), I was in awe of how everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. The panels were up and running 6 days after I paid my first instalment. I conducted thorough research and invited seven other companies to offer quotes and lead times. None of the latter could compare in price or lead time. In fact, one company offered a similar system at almost double the price!! Another company said its lead time would be 3 months from receiving payment. Having separately researched all the physical equipment, from the Jinko panels to the battery installed, I am happy to say that, in my opinion, I have the most efficient system at the lowest cost on the market. It was such a pleasure to deal with the Solgrid team. I highly recommend them, as well as their work and professionalism. Today, no matter where I am in Ireland or Europe, I can open my solar panel app and see my systems performance level. From the initial consultation with Charles to the actual installation the entire process was handled professionally and efficiently. Matthew was great at keeping me informed of each step along the way. The installation team were neat, knowledgeable and very patient. I am delighted with everything and I highly recommend Solgrid to anyone thinking about investing in solar panels.

When looking to install a solar system at our GAA club and Community Centre, Solgrid were able to advise us on the most appropriate system given our specific requirements. Compared to a typical domestic setting, our demand is particularly seasonal and we were looking to offset our winter costs. The Solgrid installation team worked with minimal impact on access to our facilities and we couldn't be happier with the service we received.

Everything was explained. The tech, the money, pro’s, cons, the design and placement, the optimal numbers of panels for my location and house orientation….. and more. Matthew never tired of my inquiries. The install was exactly as planned, and all in less than a day. I particularly like the Solgrid app. I’ve compared it with others and it is more comprehensive and easy to follow. I have no hesitation in recommending this company. Solgrid are a fantastic company to deal with. From the initial consultation, detailed explanations, documentation through to installation, everything was 100%. The crew were very professional, paying a lot of attention to health and safety, and completed a very neat installation. The system performance is exceptional, even exceeding the projections supplied by Solgrid. I am happy to say we have not paid one electricity bill since the system was installed over 2 years ago and we continue to be in credit with our electricity supplier. Couldn't be happier - Outstanding!

The installers arrived when scheduled and were very professional, neat and safe with the installation of my solar panel system. A fantastic company to deal with. I highly recommend.

I was hoping to get my system from Solgrid as they are local. However, in doing my due diligence I got quotes from two other companies. The other companies were able to provide me with a detailed quote by the end of the site visit. This is where Solgrid fell down badly. The salesperson, a polite young man, done a site visit and told me he'd be in touch regarding the quote. I assumed based on the other experiences that this would be relatively quick. I received a phone call the following afternoon, a Friday, to tell me he was waiting for the design team to get the quote ready and incidentally that he would be unavailable Monday so would be in touch Tuesday. Late in the day Tuesday he called to ask further details and again said he would relate this to the design team and would revert with a quote. I assumed this would be by close of business. But, it was almost lunchtime the following day. At this point I felt that if it was this hard to just get a price it would be a major effort to get anything more done. So, I informed him what I went with another company and wished him luck. The following day he sent me a friendly 'heads up ' that recently other companies have had safety issues and to be careful. Coincidence as it is, the day the company I chose to go with came to install a safety inspector from the HSA just happened to be in the rural area we are in and seen the work (not visible from the road as you drive by) and done a site inspection. HSA were accommodated and all got sorted. Maybe it would be best to spend your time getting quotes out to customers you haven't yet lost?

Took 6 days to get a quote following a site visit from a salesperson. Other companies quoted at the end of the equivalent visit.

Solar Panel Installation

The installers arrived as scheduled. They done a very neat and tidy installation of the panels on my roof and with the solar cables that needed to be ran from the roof to the inverter inside. Absolutely delighted with the whole system and I would highly recommend Solgrid for their service and professionalism from the start to finish.
