We couldn't be happier with our solar structure. Andrew and his team worked with us every step of the way from design to delivery. They took on board our requirements and helped us to make practical, cost-efficient and aesthetically pleasing decisions that brought about a fantastic result. We now have a covered dining and work area to the rear of our café with beautiful shiplap cladding, polycarbonate windows to protect us from the ever present elements here in Conamara and 10kw of solar generation overhead. This all feeds into a tidy inverter and battery installation near our metre that will help to insulate us against power outages and allow us to get the most bang for our buck from the panels.

I was very satisfied with the work that solar structures carried out for me both with the advice about the structure, it’s construction and the solar panels. I would recommend the company to anybody. Both Andrew and Luke were very helpful and went through everything in great detail.

The roof on our home is not suitable for Solar Panels. With the help or the team at Solar Structured we decided to install a ground based system. The team at Solar Structures designed and installed the structure along with the panel. We then engage a local registered election to complete the installation. We are very pleased with the whole system. As of 13th of July we have generated 2.8MWh of power for the 2025 year so far. We have 10 panels with a max output of 4.4KWh.. We are very pleased with installation. The lads at Solar Structures even installed guttering and a water butt. Great service.

Had the pleasure of dealing with the company for a bespoke solar structure to cover a wintering pad for a horse providing outdoor cover for the horses and the benifit of getting solar energy at the same time. Everything was done to a very high standard amd were very happy with it.

Solar Structures designed and installed my unit over 1 yr ago and am incredibly pleased with the look, functionality and performance since then. It is used for BBQs and casual dining during summer and is great for drying clothes all year round. It has had a big impact on electricity bills also with negative bills during the summer months. Very happy with the service I got from them. The landscaping and glazing were done by myself afterwards.

We installed a Solar Pergola from Solar Structures earlier this year and are extremely pleased with the results. Our 5x3 bifacial panel (6.4kW) metal pergola not only optimises our solar energy production by facing the panels south but also provides additional outdoor space. Ruairi and the team were exceptional—helpful and clearly committed to achieving the best outcome. The collaboration with Byrne Energy was seamless, and the internal electrical work is both neat and professional. Additionally, we had an Eddi (water heating) and Zappi EV charger installed. The SEAI paperwork was completed promptly and efficiently, adding to our positive experience. Overall, we highly recommend Solar Structures for their outstanding service and high-quality product.

I am very pleased with Solar Structures. They were very helpful in designing a carport for me due to lack of suitable space on my building. It is more than perfect and exceeded my expectations. Solar Structures were willing to work with any solar energy provider of my choice and were always available. They were fantastic in changing the design 3 times for me to appease any and all of my needs. The structure not only provides me with electricity it also allows me to protect myself from the weather as I enter and exit my car to and from the house with shopping etc. I would highly recommend Solar Structures to anyone that needs a bespoke system due to lack of roof space or the orientation of their property.

I'm very please with the solar install provided by Solar Structures in partnership with Byrne Energy. The Solar pergola looks great, it's really solid. The quotes were prompt, no hidden extras. All was clearly detailed on their drawings and quotes. The quality and attention to detail on the structure and wiring was excellent.

Solar Structures were great to deal with. They were always contactable and receptive and were proactive with solving any of our issues. The structure looks great and the PV system installed works very well. We are overall very happy with the project and service provided.

Installation great - painless, and efficient. Great addition to the garden for panels which would otherwise have been a nuisance with a ground-mount. Highly recommend the whole process in conjunction with JFW renewables. It didn’t hurt that there wasn’t a cloud in the sky for a month after installation.

I had an unusual request to install solar panels on my terrace. Solar Structures was the only company picking up this project. Ruairi was very enthusiastic about the project. The communication with Ruairi and Andrew was very good. Ruairi kept me informed frequently about the progress. They made a very solid structure customised for my space on the terrace. This is a great solution for people with limited space living in residential complex. Ruairi and Andrew made it possible and I highly recommend them.

Just installed a steel/timber structure to hold 6 Solar Panels at side of garage. The garage roof had previously been fitted with 10 panels but wanted to maximise the number of panels that the inverter etc. could support. Working with Ruairi & Andrew in Solar Structures was great as they drew up a draft of what I wanted. Based on my feedback they then modified the draft drawings to cover the original brief. From original concept to final drawing and then on to install was efficiently & expertly done by the team in Solar Structure. Could not recommend them enough.

We don't have a south facing roof but our rockery looked ideal if we could find a frame solution for PV panels. Solar Structures solution is elegant and effective and they worked really well with us. We're delighted with the outcome

We had limited roof space to get useful solar coverage and a large garden that we wanted to use sensibly, maintain a great space for our two young kids, and with aspirations for a pergola and outdoor kitchen. Having looked around for a while we finally stumbled upon Solar Structures, sent them on some dimensions and ideas for what we needed. Ruairi and Andrew quickly engaged and provided a couple of designs improved our options from 2 panels to 18, while helping us understand how to make best use of the garden to achieve the best outcome. A few short weeks later they had fabricated and installed the structure. We are thrilled with the result, it’s a beautiful addition to our garden and has set us up to reap the benefits of solar generation! I would highly recommend the Solar Structures team to anyone thinking about investing in Solar PV but who might have issues with their roof space, orientation or access. We now have a 15 panel car-port that's greatly reduced our energy bills, despite it being installed in December! The entire process, from initial conversations, through design, build and installation were hassle free. The professionalism of everyone involved along with the quality of the final structure have both been faultless. What's more, with the accompanying insight we now get instantly from the solar inverter we're better able to manage our day-to-day electricity usage - not to mention the benefit of selling any excess we do have back to the grid. A totally painless and very professional service from the initial conception and design, [of an 18 Solar PV panel double bay pergola] to completion of the build. We now have a new outdoor garden room ,the build took 3 short winter days to complete. The quality of the workmanship and materials [Douglas Fir] are exceptional.
