Would highly recommend OFE Solar. From start to finish the experience was excellent. I engaged with a number of different companies before making my decision to go with Ollie. I can honestly say of all the companies I spoke with (approx. 6) there was only 2 credible installers that spoke the truth and Ollie was one of them. All the others were just sales people who did not truly know what they were selling and will tell you what they think you want to hear. However, when questioned could not provide credible answers or realistic pay back periods (the standard answer you will get is 3.5 years, reality for me was just over 7). Ollie looked at our usage and suggested we could go for mini generation (max 44 panels) rather than the standard micro generation (max 22 panels), again, he and the other company were the only ones to highlight this point to me and it has been great to have the additional capacity so we some benefit over the winter also. My reason for choosing Ollie was the completeness of his quote, he thought of everything needed for the install. The next best company omitted a number of required items and when queried they agreed it was an oversight on their part. So while originally Ollie's quote looked to be more expensive it was a complete quote with no surprises. So, based on his deep knowledge and profession approach I made the decision to go with Ollie. All the work was done to the highest of standards, Ollie even had his team dig trench by hand from garage where system was installed to the house so the garden disruption was kept to a minimum and everything was put back as he found it. The system was installed in July 2025 and I am really pleased with the performance so far. As part of the install I also included 2 batteries which have been great to keep the house running during 2 storms and 1 planned ESB outage, it really is a game changer and would recommend to anyone thinking about it. Ollie did a really detailed handover of the system, app and how to run the house on batteries in an outage. Everything was clearly labelled and documented. The follow up has been great also, I have had some questions about different aspects of the system and have contacted Ollie and he is always really responsive and always has the answer to questions. There are a lot of installers out there but if you are thinking about solar, I wouldn't look past Ollie, he is a true professional, has deep expertise and his workmanship is impeccable. Other installers may look cheaper at first glance but make sure you are comparing like with like and if so I don't Ollie will be too far off the mark.

Practical advice and great knowledge of the needs and requirements of solar customers. Installation very neat, not as much as a snipped piece of wire left behind. Clear operation instructions and a very informative and supportive run through all the features of the system and the associated app. So glad we went with a reliable local company that provided such an easy experience for us and a wonderful result. We would highly recommend OFE Ltd for solar installation. We got a quote from Ollie based on the positive reviews and recommendations. From the first contact he was professional knowledgeable and patient. There was no hard sell, he took the time to understand our needs, First consultation was by phone with us providing some photos of the roof, fuse box location etc. This was followed up with an on site consultation and following discussions we got a very reasonable quote for the system we wanted. We went with 20 panels, Sigen 9KW battery and gateway system. The install happened on time at the agreed day, the work was extremely neat and tidy. We were impressed with the effort the OFE lads but in to ensure the install was as neat as possible with on only one visible conduit to the external battery. They overcame the challenges of our house design to give us an excellent system including smart emersion. Ollie gave us a comprehensive run through of the system, app and all the safety elements, once installed. Overall we were delighted we went with OFE Ltd.

Excellent company to deal with. No nonsense, no hard sell, just good advice. Got the job (solar panels, battery, etc with automatic changeover switch) done within timeframe and exactly on quote. The system is in about a month now and it's flying.. no issues at all. Very tidy job too, no mess left around after. Highly recommend Ollie and his team.

Went with OFE for solar, batteries and changeover switch. Have to say Ollie is fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. He answers any questions and gives solid advice. Aftercare support is top notch although I haven’t had any issues, Ollie has been in contact a few times to check that I’m happy with everything and to let me know that he has been keeping an eye on the system and it’s running fine, he even contacted to remind me to have the battery charged for storm Amy.

OFE installed a ground mounted 9.78kWp Solar PV system complete with hybrid inverter and 20 kWh battery storage in May. Ollie was fully engaged in offering technical advice and practical/ functional options. The complete system was installed within the quoted time frame and cost. The installation has been carried out to high levels of workmanship and engineering detail. Ollie's commitment to punctuality, specifications & standards together with communication and customer satisfaction has been top class and we highly recommend OFE.

I recently got solar panels and battery system installed by OFE Solar & EV. From initial contact Ollie was very professional. He gave great advice and outlined the best system for me and explained everything very clearly. Ollie then told me a date he would install the system and arrived on that day. Ollie and his team carried out the work to a high standard and did not creat any mess. Ollie then explained the system fully to me and made sure I understood it. He has been monitoring the system remotely since and has contacted me to ensure I had no issues or questions.
