Great service from start to finish

I had EcoPlex out recently to install an EV charger, and from start to finish the service was top class. The pricing was competitive, their communication was consistent and clear and the work was done with no disruption and in a very timely manner

6 months in and all going well

Received a number of quotes in the summer, Ecoplex was amongst the most competitive and the sales person was among most helpful /knowledgeable that I'd met in person. Install was completed quickly, all has been good with the workmanship over the last 6 months, no issues with the roof or with the electrical work, and all my paperwork was submitted in a very timely manner. The only small disappointment was in relation to a changeover switch. Some discussion over and back on what options were available to me, ultimately did not go ahead with the proposed changeover and Ecoplex had no problem removing the itemised cost from the quote. In the end I was happy with the resolution and felt that Ecoplex were very fair in how they handled the situation. The after service support has been great, particularly in relation to battery support and updates, which gives me comfort going forward. 6 months in, very happy with the level of work and the performance of the system, as well as the support post install.

EFFIENCY, FRIENDLY STAFF THAT KNOW THEIR PRODUCT AND VERY HELPFUL

The process was very straightforward and stress-free. Ecoplex scheduled the installation. Arrived on time, worked quickly and got all completed in a couple of hours. All paperwork for the SEAI grant was completed promptly.

Tremendously happy with my new solar install from Ecoplex Energy. From the very beginning I was given a full report on how solar could work on my roof. I got installed a few weeks later and the crew completed a clean & tidy job. Now 6 months later my bills have more than halved & they were on the money with how they projected my system to perform. I would recommend using Ecoplex if you are looking at getting solar installed.

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Initially, the roofing crew installed panels from a different brand than agreed and damaged two roofing tiles, which were left unattended. A second crew later came and fixed both issues. After that, the accounts department sent an incorrect invoice, which I paid. Once I realized the overpayment, I immediately contacted the company to request a refund for the excess amount. It has now been over two months, and I still have not received the refund. Communication has been poor, and the issue remains unresolved.

I had a great experience with this solar panel company from start to finish. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable with the installation plan. The work on my house was done efficiently and with great attention to detail. The crew showed up on time, kept the area clean, and completed the job as promised. Some extra work was needed by the Ecoplex civils guy, he was very professional and made a big job look easy. Everything looks great, and the system is working perfectly. I really appreciated how smooth and stress-free they made the whole experience. If you’re considering going solar, I would absolutely recommend this company.

The experience was very efficient and…

The experience was very efficient and the system was installed in less than 4 hours. The Electrician Jack had to stall an extra fuse board as our current fuse board had no spare capacity to run the system. The payment structure was very well balanced.

Solar panels

I recently got solar panels installed by Ecoplex. Sean was the sale person, he was very knowledgeable and professional. He followed up everything from the begining to the end. The installers were absolute professionals, they arrived on time and finished the job with no mess silicone and cable work were spotless. Paper work seems on track, they booked my BER survey within couple of weeks. So far no issues, highly recommended.

Harsh Shah, the gentleman I dealt with, was ever so helpful and kind, and explained everything to me so well and in details. It was a very smooth process from my first enquiry up to the installation by a very professional team. I can only but highly recommend this company:)

Updated review: Install 20th October. No contact until Mid-Nov about earthing that should have been done at the same time. Earthed end of November and I paid up as soon as received invoice. Two weeks after paying no paperwork. If only it was possible to give 0 star reviews. Avoid, avoid, avoid!! Update: Week since their message on here and had no communication whatsoever. Emailed 8th Jan a query about my battery and heard nothing 15 days later. Dont believe the replies.

I’m giving an overall 5-star review based on several factors: 1. Dylan was an absolute professional—responsive, informative, and engaging whenever there were any questions. 2. The installers were once again absolute professionals, a great team that went above and beyond during the installation. 3. Product knowledge and performance have been excellent; it’s definitely worth the investment, and we’re already seeing a reduction in bills even though the installation was done in late 2025. 4. The comparative cost-benefit analysis against other quotes showed that the quote and level of detail were very comprehensive and tailored to our home and location.

I had Ecoplex install my sister in…

I had Ecoplex install my sister in October 2025. The install was absolutely perfect. The lads Les, Sean and Paddy onsite were all having a laugh but getting the job done. From start to finish the process was pressure free, and Dylan Vettraino, my sales rep, answered every question i had with certainty and clarity. Ive had a couple of technical issues since the install, and questions around the app. Stuart and Shaun in tech support have been great help with this too. I wanted to wait a few months before leaving a review as i read some things here about the after care but i took a gamble. I dont regret it at all and my experience has certainly been exceptional. My solar is up and running and looking forward to generate a bucket full of energy in the summer!

Second time using Ecoplex. Very happy with their service both times. First time was for installing Wallbox. Got rid of Wallbox but that was down to Wallbox non existent customer service, not related to Ecoplex. Got Zappi and it was installed very quickly. Works perfectly since thankfully.

Fantastic team

Had the team out today to install my new system and I am delighted. The Electrical team arrived on time and explained exactly what and how they were going to do it. Very neat and tidy and talked me through the whole process. Fantastic team to deal with and on completion took me through the whole set-up. The roofing lads arrived shortly after and it was quite impressive how they put the panels all together on the roof. One day and im up and running, absolutely brilliant. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service I received. What was promised to be a 1-day installation turned into almost 6 weeks of delays, disorganisation, and constant inconvenience. From the very beginning, the experience went downhill. The roofing team left after only 3 hours, leaving the job unfinished, and I had to wait for them to return on another day. Then the electricians called in sick, which caused another 2-week delay. When they finally arrived, three of them, they still didn’t finish the job, and I was left waiting yet another week and a half for someone to return. And instead of coming back to complete my installation, they continued taking on other jobs while mine was left half done. On the final visit, a completely different team showed up, who had to figure out what the previous team had done. As if that wasn’t enough, I also experienced a leak in the attic after the first visit, which should never happen after a “professional installation.” In addition, the batteries were opened on the day of install, seals broken, and one of the batteries even had visible damage, something I had to discover myself rather than being informed. Throughout this entire time, I lost hours from work, had to rearrange my schedule, and spent far too much time chasing updates, coordinating teams, and trying to get someone to take responsibility. While I did receive a small discount as compensation for the time I lost, it doesn’t come close to making up for the amount of stress and wasted time. In the end, after nearly six weeks, the system was finally completed, the BER assessment carried out, and the grant steps sorted, but the process to get there was absolutely unacceptable. A customer should never have to deal with this level of mismanagement. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. The lack of organisation, poor communication, repeated delays, and the need for multiple teams to redo or finish each other’s work made this one of the most stressful home projects I have ever dealt with. I hope they take this feedback seriously, because no customer should have to go through what I did.

PEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY. We have had our system installed for 13 months now and have had problems since day one, system not working at a full capacity, there have been numerous call outs to our property but still issues haven't been resolved, and now for over a month our emails and phone calls have been ignored. We have lost a great amount in solar and therefore still have to pay our electricity bills even though we have a 24 panel system and should of had credit built up to last us a year especially with the exceptional summer we have had. Customer service has been disgraceful

Unfortunately, we are left with no option but to leave a very negative review of how ecoplex treat their customers. Having had our system installed over 18 months, we are still waiting on some of our grant money to be returned, I have also recommended ecoplex to 3 others customers who have had installations done also, all in all nearly €50k worth of business ecoplex have gained from us. We have still not received any funds that we've been entitled too. We have had 3 x in person meetings at HQ and plenty of email correspondence but still no progress. Another family member who is an OAP, hasn't had his deposit returned to him. They quoted him for a battery only but subsequently we found out that his system has a string inverter and couldn't take a battery in the first place, but they still proceeded in taking his money! And don't apper to want to return it either. They seem to have zero customer care. Avoid this company as they are only interested in taking your hard earned money. Ecoplex, please don't reply with "oh how sorry we are about your unfortunate experience with us, we'll escalate this and get it sorted for you" Actions speak louder than words! Avoid, avoid avoid.

The day he met with us at our house to describe the product,he was very clear and gave us every detail we needed. We were completely satisfied with the way he explained everything. I wish Mr. Palos all the very best in his future endeavors. I will refer him to anyone who requires solar panels.

We had an extremely positive experience with Ecoplex Energy. The sales rep Ben Kavanagh was great to deal with. He went through all our options, and answered my many ( many ) questions. Ben was available on the phone for the following few weeks as I got several comparable quotes. He was never pushy & always happy to help. Once we decided Ecoplex was our company we got our installation date and it all went smoothly. We have our system running for 5 weeks now and couldn't be happier. I dealt with Jordan Killion, who was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and happy to help with all of my questions. Great customer service and no hard sell tactics or anything like that. I'll definitely be reaching out to Jordan again when we decide to move to an EV.

I had a generally positive experience with Ecoplex — their service was professional, timely, and met my expectations. The team was courteous and efficient, and I’d be happy to recommend them based on the quality of their work. However, I did encounter an issue with their referral program. I referred someone as per their guidelines, but unfortunately, I haven’t been contacted. I’ve tried following up, but no answer. The people I referred got the reward, which means it's only missing from my side. It’s disappointing as the referrals help to expand the business. I hope they can improve this part of their customer experience as it would make the service even better.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Kevin came to our home the day after we applied, went through all our questions. I found them very professional and easy to deal with. Install was quick and seemless, we got 14 panels and a 5Kw battery. Highly reccomend.

I recently had solar panels installed and I found Ecoplex very professional to deal with. I had sought quotes for solar panels from 2 other companies before deciding to use this company. Ecoplex listened to me, the customer and delivered on my requirements. A big thank you to Ben in Sales for his patience with all my questions and to Conor and Jake who were super professional and neat at installing the panels on roof and to the brilliant electricians who resolved any issue quickly and professionally. All staff were extremely polite and a pleasure to deal with, including the office backup team and accounts staff. I'm very happy I chose to go with Ecoplex for my solar panels.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY I didn’t want to have to write this review, but this company are nothing short of criminal. We have left numerous messages, emailed multiple staff that we had contacts for and we are still waiting for a refund. For 1400€!! Ecoplex were scheduled to install at our house, and due to a wiring issue we decided to cancel our installation. We confirmed over the phone that they would refund us - they informed us it would take a while. They emailed saying management had approved the refund. That was the end of July!!! Almost seven weeks later they are not responding and dodging our phones calls. Do not do business with this company. They are at best highly incompetent and at worst criminals. Find a different installer and save yourself weeks of hassle. We will have to get a solicitor this week to find out how to get money back from a company when they just flat out rob you!

I found Ecoplex to give a fantastic service overall. Their sales rep (John Kelly) did a great job talking us through the detail, and their installers (both panel installers and electricians) were excellent. I've also had a good experience with their after sales team, having installed in Jan 2025, and leaving it this long to put the review in to be sure of the overall experience. Well done Ecoplex. I had a system of solar panels, inverter and battery installed by Ecoplex recently and I couldn't be happier with the whole process, from start to finish, and with the competitive pricing offered by them. Firstly, Alexandra visited my house to do an assessment of the roof, estimation of how many solar panels could be fit and ideal location for the inverter and battery to be installed. She explained everything in very clear terms and with honest answers about the performance and savings offered by the system and how the whole thing will work. The installation was carried out on the agreed day and it went very smoothly. It was clear that every person on the team had a lot of experience and knew exactly what they were doing at all times. They were very mindful of the property and set up the panels and the system to a top standard. They made sure that the system was up and running well before they left, including connection to the monitoring App on my phone. They were also very helpful with the application of the SEAI grant and there was no delay on their part on uploading the required documentation against the application. Overall, I’m very happy with the service, the cost and the installation. I can highly recommend Ecoplex to anyone looking for a system of solar panels
