I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service I received. What was promised to be a 1-day installation turned into almost 6 weeks of delays, disorganisation, and constant inconvenience. From the very beginning, the experience went downhill. The roofing team left after only 3 hours, leaving the job unfinished, and I had to wait for them to return on another day. Then the electricians called in sick, which caused another 2-week delay. When they finally arrived, three of them, they still didn’t finish the job, and I was left waiting yet another week and a half for someone to return. And instead of coming back to complete my installation, they continued taking on other jobs while mine was left half done. On the final visit, a completely different team showed up, who had to figure out what the previous team had done. As if that wasn’t enough, I also experienced a leak in the attic after the first visit, which should never happen after a “professional installation.” In addition, the batteries were opened on the day of install, seals broken, and one of the batteries even had visible damage, something I had to discover myself rather than being informed. Throughout this entire time, I lost hours from work, had to rearrange my schedule, and spent far too much time chasing updates, coordinating teams, and trying to get someone to take responsibility. While I did receive a small discount as compensation for the time I lost, it doesn’t come close to making up for the amount of stress and wasted time. In the end, after nearly six weeks, the system was finally completed, the BER assessment carried out, and the grant steps sorted, but the process to get there was absolutely unacceptable. A customer should never have to deal with this level of mismanagement. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. The lack of organisation, poor communication, repeated delays, and the need for multiple teams to redo or finish each other’s work made this one of the most stressful home projects I have ever dealt with. I hope they take this feedback seriously, because no customer should have to go through what I did.

I found Ecoplex to give a fantastic service overall. Their sales rep (John Kelly) did a great job talking us through the detail, and their installers (both panel installers and electricians) were excellent. I've also had a good experience with their after sales team, having installed in Jan 2025, and leaving it this long to put the review in to be sure of the overall experience. Well done Ecoplex. It's nice to be able to report a very positive experience.

We had an extremely positive experience with Ecoplex Energy. The sales rep Ben Kavanagh was great to deal with. He went through all our options, and answered my many ( many ) questions. Ben was available on the phone for the following few weeks as I got several comparable quotes. He was never pushy & always happy to help. Once we decided Ecoplex was our company we got our installation date and it all went smoothly. We have our system running for 5 weeks now and couldn't be happier. The roofer team are efficient & very clean. The electricians are great and very helpful with setting up the App. I'd highly recommend Ben & his team. The process from start to finish was flawless. I recently had solar panels installed and I found Ecoplex extremely professional to deal with. A big thank you to Bence in Sales for his patience with all my questions and clarifications. A special mention to electrician Paddy and his team, they were extremely polite and efficient. All staff were a pleasure to deal with. I'm very happy I chose to go with Ecoplex for my solar panels

Unfortunately, we are left with no option but to leave a very negative review of how ecoplex treat their customers. Having had our system installed over 18 months, we are still waiting on some of our grant money to be returned, I have also recommended ecoplex to 3 others customers who have had installations done also, all in all nearly €50k worth of business ecoplex have gained from us. We have still not received any funds that we've been entitled too. We have had 3 x in person meetings at HQ and plenty of email correspondence but still no progress. Another family member who is an OAP, hasn't had his deposit returned to him. They quoted him for a battery only but subsequently we found out that his system has a string inverter and couldn't take a battery in the first place, but they still proceeded in taking his money! And don't apper to want to return it either. They seem to have zero customer care. Avoid this company as they are only interested in taking your hard earned money. Ecoplex, please don't reply with "oh how sorry we are about your unfortunate experience with us, we'll escalate this and get it sorted for you" Actions speak louder than words! Avoid, avoid avoid.
