Wind exposure requires robust mounting on Donegal properties

Donegal is one of the windiest counties in Ireland, and coastal properties from Fanad to Arranmore Island experience extreme wind loading. Solar panel mounting systems in exposed Donegal locations must be rated for higher wind speeds, and installers may recommend flush-mounted systems rather than tilted frames to reduce wind resistance. Inland areas around Letterkenny, Ballybofey, and Stranorlar are more sheltered and face fewer wind-related installation constraints.
