CH Services put in a home car charger for us and we are delighted with the service Owen provided. His work was skilled, efficient and professional. When an unforseen problem arose, Owen worked late to resolve it. I will be very happy to recommend him.

I accidentally came across CHS as I was looking for an electrician to check out electrical requirements in our house for solar panels, i rang Owen had a little chat and found out his company installed them which was great as he is local. We are really delighted with our decision, Owen and Jack did a great job ,updating earth, trip board ect no shortcuts whatsoever also Jack his apprentice was up to the task.We highly recommend Owen and CH Services, they were very tidy and all done with a smile . Who do you need to have pick up their mobile when you have an urgent electrical related problem in your house? Don’t you want an electrician who answers at the second or third ringtone with: “Hello? How can I help you?” And then with having briefly outlined the problem for him, he replies, “Richard, I’m in the middle of job right now for a client but, if it is okay with you, I will be with you as soon as I finish it, which should be around …” And when that designated time is approaching, he first sends a text message to you to say that he is now leaving and will be there within half an hour. As sure to his word, he arrives right on time, in the company of his latest apprentice. From the first moment Owen arrives he is friendly, and you can know by him that a professional has arrived. He very quickly diagnoses the problem and what needs to be done and with losing no time gets the job done. Yet, he wasn’t rushing; rather he had that constant rhythm of a person who knew exactly what they were doing and was taking great pride and interest in doing a very good job of it. And while all the while being friendly and doing the job very neatly; not leaving us to clean up but rather showing by example, that this is the way we professionals do things. We were charged a very reasonable price for an above and beyond job well done. When we urgently needed someone to address our electrical problem today, Owen was the answer. As such we strongly recommend him for any domestic electrical problems you are facing. He is a man of his word and a true-to-form professional. Thank you, Owen. CHS provided exceptional service in installing a PV Solar system to my home. Now in operation for a year, I have availed of real returns. The system covers all my energy needs (including micro gen credits acquired), and in this time of ever increasing electricity rates to cover the vast renewable energy projects being undertaken in Ireland, I’m delighted I not only went with the system proposed to me by Owen but also my choice to go with CHS. New fuse board upgrade, ready for battery should I decide to go that route and fully certified upon completion of the install.

CH Services were recommended to us by a friend as we were looking to install solar panels. They were prompt and helpful in their response and provided a competitive quote. We opted for them because they are local, have electricians on staff and have offered to maintain the panels in the future. At present we need electrical upgrading to our home so the solar panel installation can't go ahead until the upgrade is done. However, CH Services are carrying out this work for us too.

I recently contacted CH Services regarding the installation of a car charger after changing my car. From the start, they were extremely efficient in communicating timelines, talking me through different charger options, and finding the correct one that suited my current solar setup. On the day of installation, everything was kept immaculate. The quality of work was second to none; everything kept neat and tidy, and all up and running and tested within a few hours. Would highly recommend Owen and his team going forward.

I was waiting on an electrician for over two months and decided to ring CHS this morning and left a message . Owen rang back and said he’d try to call later in the day . Great service, attention to detail and proactive in terms of ensuring you are setup for the future. Very high standard of work, tidy wiring, clear labelling and always focused on correct procedures. You'll pay for the high quality but it's the piece of mind that makes it worth it.

Owen and colleague Joe did an absolutely fantastic job resolving some tricky electrical issues in our old and sometimes challenging home. From the initial survey to completion of works- communication, specification of works and costs were clear and thorough. They were reliable, perfectly organised and a pleasure to have in our home! We’re delighted with the finished works and in particular Owen going above and beyond to find someone to subcontract coring to for our 80cm thick granite walls so he could complete installation of extraction. A problem we’d struggled with solving which he took on for us. Would thoroughly recommend. Thanks so much.

The team at CHS carried out a full house rewire and certification on my house earlier this year to set it up for a new ESB connection. We are very happy with the outcome. They completed the job in a timely manner and are efficient in the way that they work. They gave good advice and suggestions during their initial visit which we were glad we took on board. As well as having all new electrics in the house we have wired data throughout and a certain amount of provisions for both solar panels and a car charger in the future. They are well up to date with all the latest home tech and all things renewable energy. When the ESB let them know the day for the new connection power up they made sure they were back onsite ASAP to carry out final testing and give the whole place the final once over to get us up and running as quickly as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them if your considering any electrical work and/or renewable energy work.
