I got 17 solar panels fitted last May along with an 8kw Sigenergy battery. I waited until now to post my review so I could see my bills. So far so good. Up to now I have had to pay zero on my bills. The upcoming March two monthly bill will be my first as I am almost out of credit. Very happy overall. Ken was very good to deal with and gave me good options re positioning of panels and type of battery and inverter. Good aftersales support also so would highly recommend Solarpath.

My wife and I had a first class experience with Solar Path from our first point of contact to the finishing touches to our solar system installation (20 solar panels, with SigEnergy inverter, batteries and gateway). The level of support and communication throughout the process was superb. No matter how many queries we had, Ken and Jackie were patient with us and answered in a professional and timely manner. Our site survey was completed efficiently and professionally. Ken was also able to arrange a visit to a client site to view a version of our proposed system, which was fantastic. The equipment supplied, including user app software, was of the highest standard. The installation team arrived in convoy and completed the installation within 3 days, which, given the challenges they had with the weather conditions, was remarkable. The team were punctual, pleasant, conscientious and highly competent. Given their strength of numbers committed to our project, you felt as if we were the sole focus of Solar Path’s entire team for the duration of the installation. The attention to detail with the finishing touches to the installation was exceptional. We really can’t thank Solar Path enough for the way they went about delivering our solar system. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with and we would recommend them in a heartbeat. Work done professionally and in line with commitments. Invoices need to be improved and too many automated emails sent.

Not great

System installed on 30th October but didn't get it working until 4th December. The inverter was faulty and it took that long apparently to get a replacement. Had a few other excuses as well during this time so overall not a great experience with this company.

The quality of work from Solar Path was top-notch from start to finish. Everything was installed neatly and efficiently, and the team were a pleasure to deal with. A special mention has to go to Alex, the main electrician on site, who went above and beyond once the installation was complete. He sat down with us, set up the app on our phone, and clearly explained how everything worked. Alex also explained that Solar Path have installer access to the system, so they’ll be automatically notified if anything ever happens — which gives us great peace of mind. On top of that, he even left his own phone number with us in case we had any questions, which was such a kind and personal touch. I recently had Solar path out to install 15 panels, inverter and a battery. From the initial phone call i was extremely impressed with the information provided, timely response, site inspection and then to the install itself. What impressed me most about Solar Path was the time they spent listening to what I actually needed. They didn’t just hand me a one-size-fits-all quote – they sat down, talked through my energy usage, showed me different options, and explained the pros and cons of each. We must have had three or four chats before I even signed anything, and not once did I feel rushed. I’m a qualified electrician myself, so I know what I’m looking at when it comes to installs—and I have to say, the lads from Solar Path did an absolutely cracking job. The attention to detail was second to none. You’d barely spot a cable anywhere, everything was so tidy and well thought out. I honestly couldn’t fault a thing. Proper workmanship and a great bunch of lads to deal with. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Panels themselves have been epic, ESB bills have fallen off a cliff, granted during summer so far but even if they only performed this well for half the year it would still have been a worthwhile purchase. Have already recommended them to a few others.

We hadn’t a breeze about solar before chatting with the lads at Solar Path. We were interested in it but didn’t know where to even start. They sat down with us and explained everything in plain English—no jargon or sales pitch, just honest advice. They walked us through the different types of systems, the pros and cons of each, and helped us figure out what would actually suit our house and how we use power. We ended up going with a 6kW hybrid system, with a battery. We really appreciated how much time they spent designing it with us, instead of just firing up whatever setup was easiest.

Genuinely delighted with the job Solar Path did. They were here bang on time, and from the minute they came in, they were nothing but professional. They wore boot covers inside and even had a little hoover with them to clean up before they left. Took every bit of packaging and scrap away with them too—place was cleaner after they left than it was before! The whole team were sound out and really respectful of the house. 10 out of 10.

I couldn't be happier with the Solar installation that SolarPath completed for our home. I have waited a month before reviewing and can say that, even in October, the system is performing better than projected. Solar Path was by far the most honest, accurate, and professional in terms of the online solar design and the onsite physical assessment. Based on our needs and roof structure our installation consisted of 23 panels, 23 optimizers, a hybrid inverter, two 5.3kw batteries and an EV charger. Solar Path displayed technical expertise, experience, craftmanship, professionalism in every interaction from initial system scoping to installation, to post installation support.
