I had solar panels installed by FT Energy in August last year, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. When I first began looking into solar, I reached out to several companies for quotes on a 7kW system (around 15–16 panels) with the option of adding a battery. Michael from FT Energy was the first to respond, and right from our initial meeting my wife and I felt completely at ease. There was no faffing about, no pushy sales pitch—just clear, honest, easy to understand information. Every question we had was answered in the same straightforward manner. After comparing four different quotes and system options (panels, inverter, and battery), FT Energy came out on top—and the fact that they were local was a huge bonus. Following further consultation with Michael, I decided to upgrade to a 9kW system (20 panels) with a 5kW battery. I knew summer production would exceed our usage, but I wanted a system that would perform well later in the year during the darker months when sunlight is lower and generation naturally drops. Michael helped me make an informed decision without any pressure. The communication throughout the entire process was excellent. The installation itself was quick, hassle free, and completed with top quality workmanship. Although I couldn’t be there on the day, Michael phoned me that evening to make sure I was happy with everything and even walked me through the app settings so I could tailor the system to my needs. In just five months, I’ve already seen a huge reduction in my electricity bills, and if this trend continues, 2026 should bring even greater savings. The system has performed brilliantly, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. If you’re considering getting solar panels installed, I highly recommend FT Energy. We recently had Mick and his team install 9 PV panels, inverter and a battery. From the first phone call until completion everything ran smoothly,Mick's advice at each step was invaluable,and the work carried out was top class. I found Mick and his FT Energy team very professional. From quotes, explanation of installation, walk through the system, details of the app and the requirements of the BER rating excellent. Micks passion for the work flows out of him and by extension his team. The install has changed this household for the better. Built in 2017 with an air to water heat pump system we only had the electricity bill as regards fossil fuels. I have already contacted him about a second battery and will install in the new year. I got the car charger installed for future proofing and on Micks advice. We are looking into an electric car as our second car in 2026. I will like to take this opportunity to thank Mick and his team as I know I will be recommending him to family and friends but also because I know I can contact him anytime in the future with questions about the system and or app.

I have no hesitation in recommending Michael and FT Energy. From our first phone call Michael made the whole process of installing the solar system very straight forward. He gave us practical advice about the best system for us. He has a passion about his work, he communicated to us every step of the process. His team were on time and worked efficiently and cleanly in our home. We installed 19 panels with batteries in July 2025. After installation Michael walked us through the work done. After deliberation over a number of years I eventually decided to look into PV Solar installation this summer. An acquaintance of mine recommended FT Energy. I contacted Michael Brennan (company owner) and within a couple of days he visited my house near Portlaw, Co. Waterford. Michael went through and explained in great detail all my options, items such as system size (after reviewing my previous energy bills) panel location, cable runs and equipment locations inside house. He explained that all paperwork for grant payment, ESB Networks notifications, BER certificate would be undertaken by FT Energy. Every question I asked was answered with no rush and expertise. Following receipt of a very competitive quotation I opted for (20 Panel Tier 1) ground mount panel array, Inverter 5KW, and Eddie water diverter (for water heating) along with energy monitoring on PC / mobile phone. Within two weeks the complete system was installed, tested, and all paperwork completed. The whole installation was smooth, efficient with his team punctual, safe working, professional and the workmanship was neat and tidy. I am extremely happy with my PV Solar system performing even better than expected. After five months the savings on my energy bills are enormous with €406 Euro credit earned on export to grid and plentiful of hot water. Finally, I would have no hesitation in highly recommending FT Energy to anyone considering solar. This is due to their first-class service, top quality materials and equipment, professionalism, great communication and they made it clear they are available if I ever need support. I would consider good customer service is a highly important factor in this sector of which FT Energy have in abundance. *****

Mick and his team from FT Energy did a fantastic job on our solar installation. From start to finish everything was excellent. We had 12 east west panels installed with 10kw of batteries. The paperwork for the grant and NC6 were all done prior to install. They claimed the grant so I didn't have to give that money upfront. The panels were to be installed on a natural slate roof which some installers don't seem to like but it was no problem for them. All the work completed was very neat and everything was left spotless when they finished. The whole setup has been faultless since it went in 9 months ago and has resulted in significant savings on our electricity bills and I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Solar installation.

Last October Michael Brennan of Fr Energy installed 10 solar panels on my home, 5 to the front facing south and 5 on the back with north West direction. The whole installation took less than 2 days. The work was excellent, precision work, neat and no waste. A diverted was installed in the attic and an Eddie to transfer electricity to the immersion heater. The last 2 ESB bills show that I'm in credit. The grant was very enticing to install the system. I am delighted to have Michael install the system. I'm not worried about pay back time. I had 18 panels ground mounted and two 5kw batteries by FT energ. I found Mick to be very professional from our initial meeting right through to completing the installation. Also any further follow up queries, Mick was always available to answer any queries and give advice. I had FT Energy install 20 ground mounted solar panels with all the associated works plus 2 storage batteries. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and expertise Micheal and his team showed. Everything fitted and finished with no fuss and nice and tidy. Since the system was connected back to grid I have made nearly €500 in electricity credits in just 3 months. Granted I’m not yet living in the house but it shows how much electricity the panels produce. Well worth the investment. We got solar panels and an zappi car charger installed from FT energy and we couldn't fault them,absolutely top class company. They were recommended by a friend and honestly from the first phone call I knew we were on to the right guy. Mick was so knowledgeable and helpful,couldn’t do enough for us and super professional. Mick and his team at FT Energy recently completely a full Solar PV install with an inverter and a 5kw battery, a long with a Zappi EV charger too. It's been nearly 2 months now since install and they have been working perfectly, we are very happy with the system and how much we are already saving from not having to import power from the grid, we are getting up to 40kws per day from the sun! Mick and his team were great to deal with throughout the install, they allowed us to have input on where we wanted the inverter and battery, and they explained everything clearly to us throughout the install. They have also been very good to follow up a number of times ensuring everything is working as it should, and they did a great job making sure our home was brought up to spec to support the install. A very reasonable price too for the quality and professionalism of the team! I would recommend them to anybody!

Recently we made the decision to install PV panels. We decided to go with Michael and his team at FT Energy . And it was the best decision we made . He came and assessed how many panels would be suitable etc. We then got a fully itemised quote. Michael started the job when he said he would. His team were amazing leaving everything tidy and showing respect to us and our home. After the installation , Michael gave a folder with details of our system. But he also went through the app showing us how to get the best use of our system. He was available to answers the many question and making us confident in using and changing settings. Our most recent Electric Ireland bill came in and it was €36 compared to €340+ beforehand. We have two electric cars so it has been the best decision we ve made . As regards Mick Brennan at FT Energy and how good they are . We had to have a SEAI inspection and he couldn't believe how well everything was installed. It passed no bother. Professional job finished to a very high standard. If I was getting it done again I would not hesitate to use Mick . There was no hard sell , competitive price and he explained everything in detail and he has been there for any questions I've had since it was installed. 100% Ft Energy
