The initial visit from David Cleary was great. He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. We found him to be pleasant and trustworthy. The follow up visit from the engineer was similarly professional. The installation team arrived on time, did their job quickly, efficiently with a minimum of fuss and left everything very tidy after them. Diarmuid, the young electrician was particularly helpful and informative and a very pleasant young man. All told, a very positive experience.

We had to get a new roof before the installation could be done. It took 2 years, however Active8 kept the price quoted previously, even though the subsidy had dropped. We had to wait a few months then, but got a cancellation. Arrived on time and everything was set up in no time.

We needed to install panels to a schedule. The installation was done neatly and ahead of the date we were hoping for. The BER rating was provided less than two weeks later. Communications were timely and accurate.

Active 8 installed a domestic hot water heating solar system for me in 2016 and I was very impressed with the professionalism of the whole process. 9 years on the system is still working as well as the day it was installed, and is doing exactly what the salesman Billy told us it would 9 years ago. We got Billy out again recently and had PV panels installed yesterday again by Active 8. The electricians who arrived were under serious time pressure as they had a few issues at the previous job, but still nothing was rushed. They installed the system to a very high standard, and were so professional.the guys really cared about the quality of the work they carried out. The electrician even fixed an issue for us that he found incidentally with our wiring we did not even know about. Active 8 are probably not the cheapest company for installation but hey you get what you pay for. Would have no hesitation in having them do work in my home in the future.

Activ8 came out guns blazing advising of their services. They give you and quote and you're expected to haggle down on the price. We then had some follow up questions before accepting the quote. We made multiple efforts to contact them but never got a response. They then tried ringing us to advise us that our quote had expired but they had a special discount if we wanted to know more. Our queries went on dead ears. We went with another provider. But it appears if you haggle and let your quote expire they'll do you a better price.

At first this company have made a great job installing solar power. Next, once it appeared that they installed solar meter into a wrong place (blocking boiler). Activ8 went into ignore mode immediately, after I've requested to move the meter. Yes, time came to replace the old boiler, and activ8 no longer would reply to any contacts, just simply ignoring. I ended up paying other company €340 just to move the solar meter. So much for a good company. P.S. This part "When you later raised concerns, we scheduled a call-out and advised of the timeframe." never happened.

We had our solar panels installed by Activ8 Energies over 2 weeks ago, so far all going good, hot water every day & hoping now to see a reduction on our electricity bills going forward🤞. The team arrived at our house shortly before 8am & left before 2pm, they were very efficient & very helpful especially niall who was very informative & helpful during the installation, thanks lads 👏

From my first engagement with these Active8 they were very professional. Every step was explained and no question was unanswered. The installation was efficient and I was very happy how the staff cleaned up. The system works away and the app shows the energy produced and where it goes. Am very happy.

Activ8 are an A one outfit. From the first visit to the installation team and then follow up calls to the head office they have been totally professional and the work is excellent. Cant recommend Active8 enough. From getting the survey done to installation they were brilliant. Very efficient, they arrived at 8am and were done before lunch. Very tidy job too. Very professional, Brian and his team were very friendly, explaination of how the system was jargon free, they put it in simple English,they are a credit to yous.

Following a lot of research we went with the tried & trusted best in the business Activ8. From initial phone calls to surveying, engineer visit & install everything was like clockwork at every stage. 2 installation crews landed at 8 o clock on the dot as agreed, set out the plan for the day & worked together like a dream team to complete the job that day, commission & set me up on the app to immediately see the results of the installation & give tips on utilising the system to the max. Niall, Shane, Wes, Keelan & Dwayne were very professional, personable, neat & great ambassadors for Activ8. As a Facilities Manager myself I could not fault Activ8 in any way & would highly recommend them to any one considering a PV install as your first stop.

Really happy with my solar PV installation so far. Originally we thought I'd only get 8 panels, but following the engineer visit, they were able to fit another 3 if I wanted those. Which I definitely opted for then, for a total of 11. The Installation went really well, and was quick. A rather large team arrived, a team of roofers and electricians. They did a great job, and I was up and running the same day, and they're even cleaned up themselves. They were all good to chat with as well, great folks. Overall very happy with the installation.

Every aspect from start to finish, even the BER report was excellent Everyone, Rep, office, installation team, were very customer focused and friendly. Also enjoyed chatting with the team who completed all work to a high standard. There is obviously a very good QA process in place.

Love, love, love our solar panels!! The guys came in and did exactly what was promised from the official sales meeting. Within 4 hours our house was generating solar power. It’s so exciting to view the app or Eddie and watch in real time the solar energy being generated. It gives a wow factor to doing the laundry and washing up!! 👏👏🤣🤣👏👏

We were kept posted on the progress of our fitting date from the time we paid the deposit. Everything happened as advised on time and efficiently. The fitters arrived punctually and the job was completed in four hours. The walk through was thorough and clearly explained. You wouldn't know they had been there as everything was left tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending Activ 8 Solar Energies. They were also a lovely bunch of lads who seemed to really enjoy their work.

The Active8 team arrived on time and didn't stop till they were finished. They did an excellent job, very tidy and left the house clean inside and out. The crew were very amicable and informative and worked very efficiently. It took less than a day with as little disruption as possible to the household. I would recommend them without hesitation, Even when they had finisher head office rang to see if everything was OK and followed up with an inspection. On top of all that they did all the paper work.

I cannot review the product they supply solar panels etc. Hopefully that will change soon as solar is the way forward. We got the opportunity to do some planting at the front entrance of the new offices. Which look really good as do the offices. They look to be a very good business and support a lot of jobs. Google asked me if anything had changed. All I know is that business is going from strength to strength.

Would have been the 5 stars but had some issue with office staff not responding to emails and messages. There was very little paperwork involved as Conrad took care of all that! The day of installation the team arrived on time & were very professional. Alan and the guys were exceptional, they kept us informed about the work that needed to be carried out and cleaned up everything during and after installation. I would definitely recommend Active8 and we are very happy with the system which is only a week in. The installation staff are a credit to the company!

Activ8 was one of two companies out of around 6-7 quotes that were willing to visit and do a proper survey before quoting us. They handled everything - all the paper works etc. Installation was very professional, the engineers were polite and answered my questions. My advise is to get as many panels as possible for the winter days.

Active8 installed our first solar system recently. The best investment we have ever made and Active8 helped us all the way through to make it seamless and without the any stress! Great first impression with Alistair at the initial meeting and later all the help from the office , couldn`t have gone better! The install team was very pleasant, quick, clean and efficient. Explained everything before they left and only took a few hours. And as for the system, since it is up, the weather is just horrible, yet the panels providing more than enough power for the house, including the hot water! I can only recommend the team to anyone thinking to install solar!

Great Service from start to finish. Actual installation took 4 hours. Very tidy installation staff. Did everything as requested i.e. no visible wires and cables. Brian and his crew left the place very tidy.

We had Activ8 install 6kW of Solar PV along with 7.5kWh of DC-linked battery storage in the attic and could not be happier with the end result. The panels have been performing far above our expectation. Since installation in June 2018 they have generated 3454kWh, and are on track to generate ~5000kWh over a 12 month period. They were incredibly nice to deal with pre, during, and post installation, and made a very neat job of everything....with minimal impact to our home.
