I had been looking for solar companies for quite some time finally deciding on SolarPro and I couldn't be happier. Dean and his crew were absolutely brilliant, respectful, neat and super professional. Dean answered all my questions and gave me recommendation tailored to my family needs. From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure to interact with them and I would highly recommend SolarPro to anyone.

Shame Google stop at 5 stars; SolarPro deserve 10. I wanted to upgrade an existing system; Dean came out, surveyed and a week later I have an additional 7 panels on my system. Quickly and professionally installed, delighted with the results. So much better than the larger company that performed my original install, many thanks Dean!

Dean and his colleagues installed an (8) solar panel system in our house in Phibsborough last month. They were super efficient, tidy and clean. The team was very pleasant and helpful and the job was finished in less than 8 hours. There was some confusion about an Eddi switch for hot water but this was sorted in double quick time. We recently had a 16-panel (7.4kW, split roughly northeast/southwest) solar system installed by SolarPro, complete with inverter, battery, and an EDDI diverter. Dean and his team were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. From the initial consultation, Dean was thorough and transparent—carefully planning the system, explaining even the finest details, and clearly outlining the benefits. The entire process felt well thought out and professionally managed. On the day of installation, Dean, Corey, and the rest of the team were courteous, hard-working, and incredibly efficient—completing the full installation in just one day. The software used is remotely accessible by Dean, meaning any post-install tweaks or checks can be handled without the need for a site visit. Performance-wise, we’ve been genuinely impressed. On the first day alone, we generated over twice our daily usage (>30kWh), even with some cloud cover. The next day—under a fully overcast sky—we still managed to generate all the electricity we needed (~15kWh). After just over a week, we're already close to 90% energy independence and exporting excess power back to the grid for credit. We’re also saving on gas, thanks to the EDDI diverter, which heats our water using surplus solar energy. Looking ahead, we’re excited to benefit from load-shifting—charging the battery overnight at off-peak rates and using that stored energy during the winter months when solar production may be lower.

We selected Dean on the basis of his site visit to our home and the recommendation of my brother who was very pleased with the installation Dean had completed 4 months previously. They were very efficient and completed the work in 1 day. Their staff were very neat and tidy in completing the work. They left no waste behind. Even though we have one tree that we are removing soon the system has worked very efficiently since it was installed and is achieving the estimates for the number of KWhs for this time of year. The APP for realtime monitoring of the performance is excellent. We would be happy to recommend Dean and his team for any solar installation

Great company to deal with

After speaking with 10 companies we had an easy decision in the end to go with Solarpro. It's an absolute minefield trying to find a company that knows what they are doing, are professional, give good aftercare post install and don't make wild claims just to get you to go with them. We were genuinely going to leave the solar panels as we couldn't find a company who we trusted. Every other company sent us a quote based on a grainy Google earth image. With most companies we were told that site visits were only going to happen if we were going with a company. We got contradictary information off every company. It was a nightmare. I then called Solarpro. I spoke with Dean and he was out to assess the house in a few days. He brought a drone and a day later gave us multiple options, competitive quotes on each and with hd ariel photos of what it would look like. Install date was set, office assisted with grant applications and works completed in one day, 2 weeks later. Absolutely no nonsense. All his staff were genuinely polite and professional. They were tidy and the work was an excellent standard. We would genuinely recommend this company to anyone. If you are shopping around give Dean a bell. We are delighted with the final result.

Having decided to install Solar PV panels, in an effort to make a small contribution to reducing our use of fossil fuels, we got a very good recommendation for SolarPro from a friend who had just had a system installed. After the initial survey and quotation we felt we were in good hands and a month later our system was installed and running in less than a day on site. All of the installation team of technicians and electricians worked together extremely efficiently. All were thoughtful, pleasant and helpful, answering any questions and leaving us completely satisfied and in control of our new Solar PV system. SolarPro met all expectations and more

SolarPro was recommended to me by a friend who is a very happy customer of the company, having had a solar installation done two years ago, and who had found SolarPro through recommendations by neighbours who had had prior installations done. From start to finish, I was really pleased with Dean's approach to my project. A very pleasant, approachable man, he took all the time I needed to find the best solution for my particular house. He was very knowledgeable, as would be expected, with all the aspects of installing and using a solar system. The installation was done in good time, with minimum fuss. One problem, relating to where to position the inverter, was solved instantly, with no extra cost. Throughout the entire process he was individually hands-on. He has continued to be available - with follow-up calls helping to get the BER rating scheduled, and with assisting our use of the monitoring app. I would highly recommend SolarPro.

He provided various options, info on grants and ways to future proof the system. He was super easy to deal with and made the whole process seamless. The install took less than a day and his team were outstanding, such a well coordinated team! Everybody had had their tasks and were in constant communication with each other and ourselves. I was working from home that day and they keep me informed when power and WIFI would be taken down. We selected SolarPro after talking to 5 different Solar providers. We chose SolarPro based on our dealing with Dean and recommendations from a friend. Dean is not a salesman he is the Engineer who has all the information and was able to answer all of the questions we put to him. He was also there to supervise and get hands on during the installation. The work SolarPro did for us is perfect, they have a real eye for detail. They worked with us to make sure there was little to no disruption, we had zero touch up work to do. The photos show their eye for detail, The mounting of the inverter and battery are just a clean. There seem to be a lot of good Solar companies out there now but I think the way SolarPro deliver their service is exceptional and that is what makes them stand out even among the best. From start to finish Dean and team worked professionally and reliably to deliver a 17 panel PV installation. Lads turned up on time, worked to finish and tidied up after themselves. Inside and outside work is finished well and neatly. System was up and running quickly. Lads answered all questions patiently and clearly and I sincerely recommend using SolarPro for your system

We had no idea there were so many solar panel companies out there but we honestly believe we found the best. The on-site inspection by Dean was incredibly thorough and included the use of drone technology. His comprehensive quote was competitive, included a number of options and was delivered quickly. The installation itself took less than a day. Dean and the team arrived early. Everyone instantly getting on with their own tasks. It was an impressive machine to observe. The confidence you feel in them doing a good job is instant - which is a load off as solar panels are a big investment to any home. One aspect I was overwhelmed by is the way they treat you and your home and indeed each other. It is with absolute respect and professionalism. They communicate constantly about the installation. Really great experience with SolarPro. Job was due to be done later in the year but they got a cancellation for mid August . With other works in the house, the electrics were pre-wired to the fuse board, but electricians working with Solar Pro were really good and asked where we wanted things to go in advance and explained what was going to happen. The whole job with 12 solar panels only took around 3 hours. Documentation all given on the day , and also emailed and follow up re grant was very efficient. Very happy with the system and would highly recommend Dean and the team. Thank you !!

Dean and all the team made the whole process including quote, design, installation and grant application easy and stress free. We are really happy with the final result, now have solar, battery, hot water diverter and car charger, all installed in less than a day and next to no disruption. Dean and his team were extremely helpful and flexible in every step of the process. Not only do we have fantastic solar panels that work very well, the experience of ordering them, amending our order to fit in with an attic conversion, as well as installing the panels, was really easy to navigate. Dean was very patient in waiting for our planning permission to come through and then went the extra distance, coordinating the final layout with our architect. Excellent service. Can't recommend the SolarPro team enough. We'd a fairly bespoke setup and, from initial conversations right through to leaving our house post-installation, everyone involved was a model professional. On the day of installation itself there was minimal disruption despite a mountain of work being undertaken and at the end of the day you'd barely have known the place was a hive of activity - everything neatly installed, any dust there may have been all hoovered away. The system itself is performing above expectations and it's clear we made the right decision with the investment - constant monitoring of generation, usage and our own habits are now a large part of the day as we look to optimise everything!
