So, having spent a lot of time researching solar and wanting to get this installed to my home I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Eco Horizon. Whereas other companies had made 'BIG' promises and claims, the guys from Eco Horizon delivered. From the outset on getting in touch and working with them on my needs, they designed several systems with different hardware vendors and different costs so that I could see what was available and budget accordingly. Having done the design work and sending me all the details they rang me to let me know that Ciarán was available to call in to take a physical look at my home and roof. All other quotes from companies had been done via Google maps etc, so when this offer came in I said yes. Ciarán called, spend time looking at different aspects and had a look at what they had sent/designed. Upon looking at this he said he believed they had a slightly smaller panel in stock that would work out much better for my roof than standard sized ones and could maximise the amount of panels I could get up and getting a bigger system - he checked their stock and reserved the 17 Recom Lion 390W panels they had for me (rather than the initial 12 from the build design). This was just brilliant as no other company offered an actual site assessment. So with all this planned and system picked to my needs an install date was supplied and the guys arrived on site early and began to setup. Led by Finbarr to get the work done, all panels installed in a day without any disruption to me and to my surprise they got all 17 up onto my roof which I was delighted with. The electrical work, commissioning & testing the system took place approx a week later. After a minor hiccup during cabling - which Finbarr took control of and worked the problem all was back on track and up and running. A minor fault was discovered on 3 optimizers on the panels and once I called the office and informed (they had spotted the issue as well remotely) , the crew came back the following morning and reconfigured the PV string and swapped out the optimizers. This company has been a pleasure to work with from design, build, install and constant communications. My PV Solar system has now been running for 7 months and producing a fantastic amount of energy for my home. So far for 2025 I've gotten 1.8MWh equating to 70% of my energy and its getting better month by month. Would I recommend Eco Horizon to family and friends - 100%

Eco Horizon installed solar panels for me over two year ago. They were efficient, helpful and very pleasant to deal with at the time. I had reason to contact them again as i had an issue with which i thought related to their solar panels. When i contacted them, they listened to my concern and sent a team out the next morning to check the panels. I would certainly recommend Eco Horizon to anyone considering getting Solar into their homes. The workmanship was excellent. They left the place tidier than they found it. Their electrical work was very neat and tidy. Customer interaction with both workmen and office staff was excellent. A lot of other companies could learn from how Eco Horizon operate as a company and how to treat customers. You won't go wrong with Eco Horizon. At least 5 or 6 houses on our road have gone with Eco Horizon and all have similar views, in fact that is where I heard about them thankfully. There was an 8 to 10 week wait between the time I booked them to the time they started. That is an indication of how popular they are. Anything that is top of the range is worth waiting for.

From the minute I called they were very helpful and even after I asked a lot of questions, they explained everything and made sure I only bought what I needed didn’t recommend rubbish to drive the price up. No hard selling just gave me a detailed quote and then installed a couple of weeks before the timeframe they originally expected. Install team led by Finbar couldn’t have been nicer and were very respectful of my house and left everything very tidy. The tech guy in the office was also very helpful on the phone explaining everything once I was set up. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for solar panels.

Solid work and friendly team

A quick phone call turned out to having someone call to the house the next week. The organisers and admin in the office were great and fast to deal with. The guys that came to take an intial look took me through the positioning and available options and what devices would work. I would have a fair bit of knowledge on the stuff but they were very helpful to ensure i understood the system and pros and cons of the different options and best value for money. There was a waiting period before the work was to begin which was estimated to be 10 weeks but they got to me much sooner than that. SEAI paper work was all taken care of by them practically, a few online things to fill out to initiate it - the SEAI inspecters did arrive out 2 months after the install and complimented the job. The installers were great guys, very fast happy to explain and did a great job even with the ground works that needed to be done.

Navigating the Solar Suppliers

I shopped around to 5 or 6 suppliers in Ireland but when I met Ciaran and the team and how they approached what I needed, I was able to trust their guidance. We have the panels and batteries almost one year now, it has made a big impact on energy savings. The one time I did need support for the wifi connection, the team were here the next day. ECO Horizon solar panel installation February 2025

Having done some research before seeking quotes for solar panel installations, ECO Horizon were one of the few companies (if not the only one ) that can or were willing to quote for the supply of non-Chinese batteries and inverters which was a particular requirement of mine. Ciaran visited my house and went through the limited non- Chinese options that were available at the time (early autumn 2024). The on-site discussion was informative with none of the usual sales pressure being applied. After much soul-searching on my behalf followed by another site visit by and advice from Ciaran, I decided on a Duracell 10kW battery and Duracell 5kw inverter option. After some weather-related delays, the installation went ahead over three (part) days in February 2025 without any problems. The panel installation team obliged by fitting an additional 2 panels at my request on the day of the installation even if it meant a return trip to Laois to do so. The background support team, admin & technical, Noel, Nicola, Liveta & Aleksandra have all been prompt and helpful in response to my many queries and nit-picking on paperwork and technical issues. Very satisfied with Eco Horizon. They were accommodating of my requirements, and installation and setup went smoothly and we've been happy with the system since.

When we decided to install solar panels in October 2024, I have to admit I was worried about finding a reputable installer given the number of horror stories I had heard. EcoHorizon were the 4th company to quote us to install the panels but were by far the most impressive. Ciaran, was the only one of the four who advised us against the EDDI diverter, saving us nearly €1000. Eco Horizon were also the only company who were able to supply different size panels to enable us to maximise the roof space we had available. Their price was the most competitive and they were local. In the end we went with 2 batteries and managed to get 18 panels on the roof. I cannot say enough about the installation team. They were extremely pleasant, extremely efficient, extremely tidy and answered all my queries. The panel install was done in one day and the electricians came back for a half day to complete the electrics. To a man they were all great to deal with, highly professional and very helpful. The office staff have been so easy to deal with. Any queries I have had were answered promptly. They completed the grant application and made the whole process a breeze. Folliwng the install we had an issue with some flashing, near one of the panels which had come loose (nothing to do with EcoHorizon) and Nicola had someone out to me the next day to make a repair. I was so impressed. The app works great and was really easy to get up and running. We are already seeing fantastic savings and it's a thrill to be able to see energy being sold back to the grid. I have no hesitation in giving EcoHorizon a 5 star rating. They were fantastic from the outset and made the whole process stress free.

Eco Horizon Solar Panels

Having had 4 different companies and quotes for our solar panels we knew hands down when we spoke with Ciarian we would be going with Eco Horizon, he understood what we wanted, answered all our questions honestly and not just what we wanted to hear and gave a very competitive quote. Finbar and the crew showed up on time with minimal disruption completed the installation and even came back to do additional cleaning up as it wasn't 100% even though we were happy out. They ladies in the office were flawless, on the ball with; the app to monitor the panels, forms for the seai grant, Ber and the billing process. Genuinely couldn't recommend them any more exceptional service and product we've seen a huge reduction in our bills.

Eco Horizon recently installed solar panels with a battery for me. From start to finish the operation was seamless. I did some research before deciding to install the panels and had quotes from a number of other companies. None of them gave the advice that I got from Eco Horizon, neither was there any dreadful sales spiel to listen to which a lot of the other companies do. Everyone I dealt with in the company was fantastic, from Ciaran to the operations team, the team installing the panels and the electrician team. Work started on the day it was supposed to and finished when it was supposed to, all Health and Safety and Building Regs were adhered to. Everything was left in perfect condition. Regarding the panels themselves, I'm very pleasantly surprised at how much electricity has been generated, they've surpassed my expectations and that's for the end of February when I wouldn't have expected much! I'm just sorry I didn't do install them sooner. I really can't recommend EcoHorizon highly enough, no nonsense, great communications and an excellent job.

I had my system installed with Eco Horizon Solar a few weeks now. From start to finish I found all the team there to be informative with no pushy sales tactics. From the fitters for the panels to the electricans a week or so later came , they were profesional , tidy and the nicest people you could meet. The standard of the work both solar panel fixings and electrical is outstanding. I've seen some photos's of what people think is a tidy fitout online but what finish on my system is outstanding. I went with Eco Horizon as they are local to me and I felt they were a trustworthy company. Price competitives is one thing but I cannot praise this company enough so far. We recenly had a solar install done by Eco Horizon. We had a particular system that we wanted to use which was outside the established brands in the Irish market, and Eco Horizon went off and got qualified on the system in order to facilitate our preference. The staff are very friendly and professional, from the office staff who reply very promptly to queries to the panel installers and electricians who completed the work to a very high standard and left the place spotless after themselves. ECO HORIZON were recommended to me by a friend who had just completed a Solar/EV Charger installation. The initial Inspection of our house was extremely professional, they could answer all of our questions and concerns. Shortly after receiving our quote the Panel Installers completed their work in a very effective time line and in a pristine manner. The Electrical team moved in after this and they were brilliant, neat & tidy, and very helpful in every way. The neatness of the installation is outstanding. We were also dealing with the OPERATIONS team and again this was professional and they helped to make the process very easy. I have recently had Solar Panels installed by Eco Horizon Solar and I would highly recommend this company. I was initially given detailed explanations,guidance and options as to what was most suitable for my requirements. This was followed by excellent support from the Admin Team who arranged for a BER inspection and guided me through the forms which were required for the SEAI grant,which was approved and paid. The Installation Team were very professional and completed their work efficiently and tidily. It is too soon to give details of the cost savings as a result of the installation of the Solar Panels, however I am confident that the projections provided by Eco Horizon will be achieved. In overall terms the Project was completed in a first class manner.
