Renewables Ireland- extremely positive experience

Renewables Ireland- Luan, Alex, Jack, Rory and their team at Renewables Ireland installed my solar panels last Feb. All the contact with Renewables Ireland before and after the installation was efficient, prompt and helpful. On the day, the installation was quick and problem- free. Andrea in the office was really wonderful to correspond with and helped lead me through the various stages. I am very happy with my year of electricity generation and have had follow- up since from Alex offering support as/if I need it. Using Renewables Ireland has been a most positive experience for me. Sincere thank you to all the team.

Rose & I decided to go for solar panels a long time back but we feel the time is right now - having checked out the details from many close friends and family etc we decided to run with Renewables Ireland - we watched an installation by the company in our neighbour's house about four months back and were very impressed by the professional approach of the firm - the panels were up on day 1 and the electrics followed over two days later - everything seemed so seamless and then they were gone. Keith Lee - the Company's Representative was on the ball from the start - he listened to our requirements and explained everthing in detail - after we approved the warranties, guarantees, quotation and schedule of payments - he set out the timetable from A>Z - organised the BER rating assessor to organise the SEAI grant - and scheduled the work to commence on Friday 6th February 2026 which was the most attrocious day weatherwise to start anyworks out doors - however the guys, very friendly Adam & Bart arrived at 8.30am ( one team member down ) set up the access scaffolding to H&S standards and lifted the solar panels, placed, secured and weathered same making all necessary connections. They deposited the rest of the equipment to complete the works, into our house for safekeeping - battery, inverter etc.and were agone by 4.00pm. The specialist electrical installers, John and his colleague arrived on the following Tuesday and the works were completed to the higest standards within two days - mostly carried out in the attic, with minor disruptions to our fuseboard downstairs. It was all very painless - and then they were gone too. Keith was back the following week ie. yesterday and showed me the workings and features of the FushionSolar mobile phone app and explained it all in great detail. We are now awaiting a certificate of compliance together with the Ber rating certificate and onwards and upwards from here. This firm knows what it's at and I suspect I got I real bargain quotation - 10/10

Experienced and reliable to deal with.

After similar quotes from several Solar Panel installers we decided to use Renewables Ireland and the Huawei Solar equipment as we felt it was well proven, and could be mounted externally. Alex Hatt was our advisor, Alex was helpful and promptly answered all our questions and emails without problem. We eventually used 12 panels with optimisers(as we have some roof shading), a 5kwh battery and an Eddi hot water divertor. The installation team of Roofers and Electricians were professional, did a neat job and it was all completed in one day. Andrea in the office helped with all our queries and the SEAI grant process as well. We are very happy with the result of our Solar panel Installation by Renewables Ireland, are already saving on our electricity bills and have achieved an improved BER as well.

They were impressive to watch, working in different teams with everything coming together in the end. I was generating electricity by 4:00pm the same day. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Renewables Ireland.

Domestic PV Experience with Renewables Ireland

Two years ago, I did my research on domestic PV panels. Key considerations in selecting Renewables Ireland included visiting previous customers and face-to-face discussions on their experience, not just the on-line reviews that could conceivably be written by anybody! Renewables Ireland exceeded my expectations; the management responded promptly, provided as much information as needed, answered all my questions patiently and in as much detail as I required. The installation team arrived on time, worked carefully and safely and did a professional job. Now, two years later, I am delighted with the outcome. The PV solar panels have reduced our electricity bills, and it feels good to be doing our bit to save the planet. Recently, we had to replace part of our roof, necessitating the removal and reinstallation of four PV panels. Renewables Ireland team coordinated with roofing specialists, arrived on time, did the job safely, efficiently and cleanly. I am delighted with the service Renewables Ireland provided over two years, and welcome anybody considering using them to visit and see their work in our south Dublin home. I could not recommend Renewables Ireland strongly enough. From first contact, the entire office team, sales team, installation team and management team were second-to-none. They made every step a seamless process. They arrived on-time on the morning of the installation and were completely finished by 2.30pm. They handled all the paperwork and registration documents and then followed-up with Training and Support on the Apps etc. Every person we dealt with was extremely friendly and happy to help. I had an installation of Solar PV panels on my house last year by the Renewables Ireland team. The installation was flawless and the system works perfectly. I'm really happy with the location of the inverter and the neatness of the work. The team uses tier 1 equipment (I should know as I'm working on the utility scale side of renewables). I intend to have more panels installed this year to maximise the utility of the inverter - if I can figure out where to put them. Great support helping to get the energy rating updated and no problem getting the grant after the works were completed. I have recommended Renewables Ireland to a number of people and will continue to do so!

Having done lots of research into various solar panel systems and installers, we were recommended to use Renewable Ireland. We were extremely impressed with how they approached our enquiries. They sent out representatives to speak with us, regarding our use of electricity checked a recent ESB bill and our day/night plans. They explained fully the systems they provide and we selected a system which included storage batteries. I told them that we would like the batteries to be installed outside and this was not a problem and we picked a suitable location in the back garden. They also explained the roof fitting of the panels, how they connected together and how they could be optimised to produce the maximum yield from our layout. It was the knowledge of the system and the careful explanation (without obligation or being at all “pushy” )followed up by a realistic quote that we knew we were talking to the right people for us. We were sent a link to the SEAI for grant application and received approval in a short time. They date was selected for the installation and a pleasant crew of competent installers and technicians turned up and expertly fitted the system , exactly as had been explained, to our complete satisfaction A few days later the system was commissioned and handed over, with Paul Bradley and a colleague inspecting and checking every aspect, setting up the app on our phones, and again taking the time to make sure we understood everything, with the assurance of any future assistance, should we need it. All in all an excellent service and extremely pleasant experience. If you are thinking about Solar Panels, these are the people to contact. Renewables Ireland has restored my faith in service and reliability being still available in an Irish owned and well managed company and they get the highest recommendation from our family. Paul (Bradley) and his team were hugely professional in how they carried out their work. I had initially been a bit wary of some PV providers out there, and chose Renewables Irl only on the strength of a recommendation from someone I trust in the bulding industry. I can honestly say that Renewables came through with flying colours. Paul was hugely approachable and willing to engage with every query along the way, and the installation guys were both courteous and extremely proficient in how they got panels fitted onto our challenging roofspace. Paul and his team came to site last week and installed our PV system in a few days. The build team was very friendly and very helpful to other contractors on site. The process was very well managed from start to finish. I highly recommend Renewables Ireland, so much so that we have told Paul that we will be asking them to design a second phase later this year.

Eire Og Greystones GAA set out to minimise our energy consumption and costs with the installation of solar panels on our clubhouse. The Renewables Ireland team were successful in the tender process. The team guided us through the entire process from options on the system installed, the NC7 application as well as the provision and installs of a 22Kw system with a 10KWh battery. In addition we have real time monitoring of both our energy generation via the app which is easy to navigate. Paul and his team were excellent. They installed new solar panels and the brand new Libbi (battery storage unit) from MyEnergi. The installers were very friendly and professional. Left no mess and did the job efficiently. Paul was brilliant as he came out to the house to survey it and give his expert advice on the best solution. Couldn't recommend enough!
