My Power delivered an excellent end-to-end solar installation experience for our home, and I’m very happy to recommend them. From the first conversation, Mr. Graham took the time to understand our usage, roof layout and future plans (like EV and battery storage), and then proposed a system that made sense rather than just pushing a standard package. Their communication was clear throughout – every step from quote, SEAI grant paperwork and BER, to ESB NC6 notification was explained in plain language, with timelines that they actually met. It was obvious they knew the Huawei-based setup very well, including the monitoring app and smart features, which gave me confidence the system was commissioned correctly. Overall, My Power are knowledgeable, professional and easy to deal with. I posted a few months back but I also wanted to add some additional benefits based on our experience after 5 months of going solar! The immediate and most obvious benefit has been the significant savings on our electricity bills, especially as we've shifted to heating water primarily through solar instead of relying solely on gas or electricity. We also purchased a battery which we felt was important. A lot of people I have spoken to seem to focus in on the payback period, which is definitely one key aspect. What truly exceeded our expectations was some of the long-term gains in other areas. Within a short time of installation, our BER rating improved from A2 to A1—despite having recently completed an attic conversion. As we were also going through a mortgage top-up process, that top-tier BER rating was important and directly contributed to a property valuation that was 10% higher than what otherwise would have been achievable without the solar upgrade. This improvement also continued to make us eligible for preferential rates on green mortgages. This is another short term benefit which manifests in a reduced mortgage payment month on month. On the home valuation side of things, the proportion of the higher capital value of our home directly attributable to going solar was approx. 3-3.5x of our solar cost outlay. So it would appear to increase the value of the home, and more than payback the solar outlay cost (albeit on paper!). I had seen newspaper articles about improved valuations but having seen and discussed the dynamics of our own valuation report with the valuer and mortgage provider, you are never quite sure. I’d highly recommend this investment to anyone looking to reduce their energy costs while at the same time boosting the value and efficiency of their home. In our experience, the ancillary benefits are very real.

Got four quotes for solar panels, battery and EV charger and MyPower were not the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive. I found them to be the most informative, however, in terms of advising me on what kind of system would suit my needs. They were the only company that felt it would be useful to show me the user app, none of the other sales people showed me this, which I felt was very poor on their part. We all know what solar panels look like after all but I wanted to see what technology I'd be using on a day to day basis to get the best out of my new system. Graham was extremely helpful, advising on battery size (all other companies only offered one size). I was also impressed with how integrated the whole system was, one Huawei app to control everything, not three different apps for each element of the system (panels, battery and EV charger). The guys installing were friendly, professional and very efficient. They were also clean and tidy and left a very minimal footprint in terms of wiring. Everything was labeled very well and the after sales service from Graham has been second to none (even answering an email on a bank holiday Sunday!). Would absolutely recommend MyPower if you want a fully integrated system and a seamless experience. Everything worked first time and zero issues since. Delighted that I can see exactly what I'm generating day to day and the money I'm saving. I may have paid slightly more than the cheapest quote but you absolutely get what you pay for in this case with MyPower.

We shopped around and the price we paid was bang on. Installation was very straightforward and follow up has been thorough. Have to recommend MyPower for big and small projects.

Excellent service Graham and Johnathan were a pleasure to deal with. Johnathan and the team did the install , even spotted a bad connection and a damaged relay on my fuse board, all as part of his certification process. My house alarm had being going off randomly over the last 3 years, apparently due to the bad connection he spotted. He duly repaired the connection and the affected relay. No problems since. Very observant and very professional. Graham was my first contact with the company and he really impressed me with his knowledge. I thought solar panels were simply a ,supply, fit and install process. It's not that simple. It's a solar panel SYSTEM. Graham will take you by the hand and explain in simple terms as to what a system comprises and, then ultimately, you choose the elements that suit you. There are solar panels , hot water diverters , batteries, inverters, optimisers etc. Finally MyPower are to me , First class advice Top quality install Very competitive pricing
