Alan was absolutely brilliant…

Alan was absolutely brilliant installing our car charger. He got stuck into it straight away and we barely even noticed he was here. He gave us all the info we needed and made sure all was working before he left.

Great experience.

I’d like to thank all the staff at Actavo and to Martin Foy the electrician who installed my EV charger at my house. It was a very easy process from start to finish. Martin and his crew did a fantastic neat job, delighted with my new charger.

Professionalism at its best

Àlan and his team are very professionàl in their work which is to be expected in an important job they do. They fitted a home charger for my EV. The work is to a high standard and im very happy with it all. They worked in very wet conditions too! They also explained how to use the device very well. I would highly recommend alan and his team to my friends and family.

Unprofessional people sitting in this company. No Clear communications, they have our mobile numbers, no messages are sent. Sadly all the companies related to broadband give the customer quotations to Actavo. 1 month waiting for the broadband installations. To clear a duct, they took 1 month. They know their monopoly will work as vodafone, sky and other providers give all the work to them but pity on these providers as well who don't care about customers.

Had great pleasure to have Martin installed our EV Charger. Such great effort, Martin was professional and tidy, did all the work neatly. We had a great funny conversation. I always will recommend working with Actavo, very happy with the service.

Great recovery after a poor first impression.

1st appointment cxlled, pushed out a week. 2nd appointment delayed to afternoon and then pushed to following day. No help to set up app for the new charger, no registration code sent to me in my welcome to your new device email. So I've a €1000 box on my house that doesn't work and I can't control. Update 27th November, the installer returned today and had us up and running in minutes. Just the missing registration code was the problem. All sorted. 😁

Had our Zappi charger installed by…

Had our Zappi charger installed by Martin and Dan. They arrived on time and carried out the work to a very high standard. They were very friendly and professional throughout. There was constant contact from the office before the installation date and even on the day just to make sure all was going ok. Would highly recommend.

The Actavo support team are a big let down good expierance with an EV charger installation ie good product great job by two workmen then the follow up paperwork by management none existing resulting in long delay in saei grant BUYER BEWARE.brendan kiernan.

Actavo leadership - as someone who works in business and understands customer challenges, I am shocked at an interaction with one of your service engineers on our property today. Absolutely appalling behaviour and attitude from someone that entered our property without engagement or permission and refused to answer a very reasonable question - what are you doing? I was told my property wasn’t my property and I was on a power trip!!! I didn’t have the right to ask some simple questions. Attitude and demeanour dismissive, rude, aggressive and SHOCKING! Awaiting call from your Manager Alan to submit formal complaint and determine what customer service values your staff adhere to? How is Sky working with your company? I am a Sky customer. Your staff member was told to leave our property due to his aggressive and rude behaviour - and won’t enter it again. Shocking business practice. Driving a Sky branded van. Literally speechless!

I purchased a home car charger that was installed on the 14th of August 2025, as part of the contract the appointed electrician was obliged to provide a formal safety cert and test record to verify compliance. He assured me he would send within 2 weeks, no documents were provided and since that date I have called and emailed the support team numerous times. Each time I was told they are 'in the post', then it changed to 'the electrician is a sub contractor and we are finding it difficult to get a response', to numerous empty promises about escalating to senior mangement. I still havent received the documents which means (1) I have no certification or compliant charger (2) unable to apply for grant from SEAI. The Actavo support team are very poor, they provide responses that are not true or make promises to call back or follow-up and never do. Its been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I advise anyone to use a local small contractor and keep clear of Actavo

In general, over the last 5 weeks this crowd were nothing but stress and hassle. However, talk about finding a diamond in the rough, a lovely lady (Ciara, I hope I got your name right) contacted me today from Head Office with the news I wanted to hear for the last 5 weeks! If you are reading this, thanks for pushing my concerns for me and getting this nailed to bed. Nice one.

Rude company they like to park there vans and go off on holiday, anywhere they like causing accidents spoke to customer service and they like to swear at people avoid as all cost

I had a very unprofessional and rude driver from Actavo parked outside my house on the grass verge directly infront of my entrance of my driveway. When i was trying to get out, i motioned him to move, which he completely disregarded. I had to get out my car to talk to him and he refused to acknowledge me and pretended not to see me. When I said you can't park there as there's a whole street empty where he could have parked correctly he rudely said he is in his van and has a right to park there. No respect or consideration for residents that he had obstructed my driveway. Unbelievable he was downright rude. He had an entitlement complex. I wish this company would deal with their downright rude drivers. I have his van reg number.

Actavo needs to take ownership over selling products to the public. My wallbox stopped working after six months actavo said I need to contact wallbox and for actavo to send out service it would be €250 euros. I obliged and got in contact with wallbox and were not able to resolve after scanning with app and videos through wattsapp. they put it back with installation company actavo who did send out service guy but couldn't fix it he came out with no parts and did tests. I have been in contact with actavo and I keep getting the same runaround answer that they are in contact with wallbox. I have numerous emails and phone calls to support everything I am saying. Why cannot actavo replace the wallbox and send back unit to wallbox. I did say that my contract is with actavo and not wallbox. It costs me more money to change car at public station than at home I'm sorry I dealth with them. The wallbox they installed you cannot just plug in and walk away you have to stand at wallbox in all weather and connect with Bluetooth and start charging. The amount of times they told me we will call me back and didn't is unbelievable. I would not recommend anyone to do business with actavo Iv no choice but seek the services of small claims court Date of experience: 30 May 2024 Pat

Poor quality job at sky installation 19/8/23 Dublin 15. I suspect think that the engineers dont have any training in engineering. The attitude that they have is get the job done and move off. No concern about doing a good job. I've added a photo of the way the wall was repaired after a cable was put through it. The cover was orientated sideways. What kind of a fool would do this? He can't be a real engineer. I'm pretty sure that drilling the wall wasn't needed either, if they guy know what he was at. At one stage I was quizzing the "engineer" about it and he said "most guys would have left this job, it's too much, it's just that it's a Saturday that I'm happy to stay and do it". I'm just sorry that at that stage, I didn't tell him go away before he damaged my wall. I phoned and complained and then a botch job was done again to fix it. See the third photo.These guys really don't give a damn about the quality of their work. It's the standard that I'd expect if I got a teenager to do it. Ridiculous. Don't let these guys into your house.

They install on behalf of Siro. Horrible experience, even you can see sometimes the engineers have a good intention, but the outcomes are horrible. They never have the tools to do the job, the modem box is tilted, the dry wall patching was really rough, didn't clean up after, left marks on the wall and my coach.

Rude and unprofessional engineers. Only half install and then say they don't have time to do the rest. Seem to go out of their way to do as much damage to the outside of a house as possible. Sky seriously risk their reputation by using these cowboys.

Very un professional company with very poor quality groundsmen. No respect for private property. Have reported them to an garda for criminal damage to my property and trespassing. Dug up my drivway without notice and left it back in poor disrepair. Why are the NBI hiring these.

My elderly parent have had no tv since last Wednesday. The engineer was to call out on Saturday at at cost of €15.00 extra. They waited all day and no show. No phone call, nothing. Only I have rung Sky to get in touch on my behalf they would still be no wiser. The best they can come up with is that someone will be in touch in 48 hours. No tv service for a week for people in their 80’s is a very long time. I am trying to ring Actavo today myself on their behalf at 12 noon and the office is closed and the mailbox is full. Useless service. Appalling treatment of elderly people whose only entertainment is their tv. Sky need to review their contract with this firm. Useless service.

A very unprofessional company. Shocking service. Staff are very bad and untrained. Dunno how to deal with customers. I was booked in by sky ireland for an engineer to connect my tv. Actavo were the company to do it. I was booked in between 12 & 5 today. I received a call at 4.45, 15 minutes befre my booking time ended to say engineer wont be out. And to book in for next week over 5 days later. No help from them at all. How anyone can hire this company is mental . Stay away from these.

their technicians came to put WLAN to my house this FRIDAY morning. The guy did half job , couldn't finish it because his laptop is not working(unprepared). When leaving he said he would come back this afternoon to fully install the WLAN. He never did. Secondly, He charged his drill battery in my house(unprepared).

Virtually no communication between despatch office and engineers. No communication with customer re installation. Wasted an entire day waiting for somebody to call me . Systems not working, Covid - any old excuse ! Sky need to be much more diligent in who they choose to be agents - as a new customer this has been a dreadful experience 😡

Actavo came in to my in-laws house and the installer was very rude he installed the router in the front of the house even though they had tv and phone on there package. He said not my problem you have to sort it out your self what a great company

Terrible company to deal with. Very unprofessional and their team members on the phone are about as useful as Eir customer support. Stay away, but if you are forced into a situation where you have to use these guys I would advise to take anything they say with a bucket of salt.
