A great experience from start to finish.
I had a great experience with this solar company from start to finish. From The first phone call With Donal Enright who was professional, knowledgeable and took the time to clearly explain the entire process, including system design, costs, and expected savings. There were no hidden fees or surprises. The installation was completed on time, and the crew worked efficiently while keeping everything clean and tidy. The system has been performing exactly as promised, and I’m hoping to see a reduction on my electricity bill. I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering switching to solar.

We recently had solar panels installed by Swyft Solar and overall our experience was positive from day one through to the finished product. From the initial fitting to the final setup, the process was handled well and the end result is something we’re very happy with. Our home has three-phase electricity, which meant different clamps were required than the standard ones to get the system running correctly. This caused some delays and took a few months to fully resolve, but the issue was worked through and completed properly in the end. Throughout the entire experience, Jessica in the office was outstanding. She was always attentive, listened carefully to any concerns we had, and consistently went out of her way to make sure we felt heard as customers. She did everything she could to ensure we had a good experience and to help move things along when delays arose. Her communication and support made a real difference. Despite the challenges along the way, we are happy with both the product and service. We would like to give a special thanks to Jessica for all of her efforts as it made the process easier for us.
AVOID!!! WORST COMPANY
Appalling experience which is still ongoing. Salesman visited our home and did a site survey.He promised a good deal which in fact was all false and we only realised on the day of installation when it was already too late. We were promised credit to make up for the false sale (which he refused to put in writing) The Installers damaged property (smashed glass) which we were told would be replaced immediately. We are now 4 months on and I have lost count of how many follow up emails and calls have fallen on deaf ears. Currently at the point of seeking legal advise. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Would never recommend them to anyone!
The company has stopped responding
My solar panels have stopped working. The company is not answering the phone nor returning voice messages. They are also not replying to emails.

What a wonderful experience form start to finish. My husband and I had to get our boiler replaced and Swyft Energy went above and beyond to help us. We would highly recommend them. 5 stars!
Wouldn’t go near them. Got a boiler and water pump installed. Constant issues with the pump. Replaced twice with the same brand that they said was defective. Awful company. Completely ignore any queries
Stress Free Experience
4 months into my home solar ownership and couldn’t be happier with my choice. I chose Swyft based on a number of factors; price, reputation, materials used, experience in the market and aftercare. Having had multiple conversations with different vendors I decided to go with Swyft. I went with 12 panels, a 9kwh battery and a Zappi charger. Prices were in line with other competitors but it was the reps that sealed it for me. They weren’t pushy and took the time to explain all options well. When the time came to complete the job, they were in and out in two, half-days. Roof riggers on day 1, electricians on day 2. There was no faff, they were all very efficient and clean. No mess left behind and they took the time to explain everything in person rather than be handed an instruction manual. (I did get that too!) 4 months on and I’ve had very minimal need for aftercare. Everything just works as it's supposed to. When I did contact them with some clarifying questions, the responses were always timely and courteous. Would highly recommend.

I would recommend swyft energy
I would recommend swyft energy. We had to replace the boiler in our house when we moved in, the old one was broken, outdated and we don’t know a thing about boilers. We got recommended to talk to swyft energy and the process was seamless from. From the start they had the job assessed, priced, booked and their team helped with availing of grants too. The day of the boiler replacement, their installer arrived early and was very clear in outlining everything that he would be doing so we were aware of the process. He was in and out within the day, took everything with him and left the place immaculate. We had zoned heating installed which made a big difference to the house and we haven’t had a problem. I’d be happy to recommend swyft and have recommended them to many people in person since working with them.

Would not recommend Swyft Energy!
Would not recommend Swyft Energy for your solar panel install. We had a site visit last year from a knowledgeable and friendly rep who went through everything, explained the process, checked the site and advised on how many panels were required. No issue there. The cost was very similar to that of other companies we engaged with but went with Swyft in the end due to the knowledge and info the rep could give us. Once we agreed to go with them there as no issue to get anyone on the phone, they phoned on a regular basis to try nail down a suitable install date. A date was agreed. However, they required full payment up front before anyone started the install. Not a chance would I hand over €7000 before any work was done! We explained the most we would pay was half now and half on completion, Swyft agreed and work commenced in May 25. Install was done in one day, sub contractors were friendly, caused little disruption and i have no issues with them per sa. However, a decision was made by the installers to install the inverter in our garage and use a TP link to boost the wi fi signal which they assured us would work perfectly. This has not been the case. The inverter cannot communicate data due to poor signal, I cannot monitor the solar production or usage as i was promised. If the panels are not working or have a fault i have no way of knowing because the app cannot display the information. The Eddi water heater cannot heat our water from its manual boost function and also the app boost option doesnt work as it cannot communicate with the inverter/grid supply either. The Eddi app which has capabilities of dispalying usuage and generation cannot do this either. I have phoned and emailed Swyft countless times to rectify the issue. Suddenly, noone wants to talk or phone us back. the solution is to move the inverter and all the wiring etc into our attic but presumably noone wants to cover the cost of this. I also resorted to contacting the electrician who did the install as swyft would not reply but he also wont reply. The installers made a bad decision to put the inverter too far away from the house and now its not doing what we were promised it would do. We now have solar panels with no idea whether they are functioning or not with no reliable data available. We cannot monitor our usage or get the most from the panels as we have no idea what they are doing! Its so disappointing that Swyft are efficient and contactable in the initial sign up but when something goes wrong which they are solely responsible for they ghost you. This is simply not acceptable and they should review how they treat their customers. I definitely would never recommend them to anyone after our experience.
Appalling On-Going Experience
The installation service for our Solar Panel System has been nothing short of appalling since our panels arrived on Dec 1st 2025. The entire service offered by Bord Gais/Swyft Energy is far too fragmented with multiple sub-contractors all carrying out various tasks but no overall accountability taken by anyone once something goes wrong! After the panels were installed on Dec 1st we discovered an issue with our 5kw battery & reported it to Swyft Energy but no response! Eventually we contacted the installation electrician (subcontractor to Swyft) directly & he called back to rectify the situation however he did say that an engineer from Swyft would call the following day to carry out a further piece of work on the optimisers. One week later & no sign of the Engineer so the phone calls began & since then (6 weeks ago) we have failed to resolve the issue. Despite numerous promises from Patrick at Swyft(who is being constantly let down) we still await an electrician to complete the installation of our system. To date we have not received a single phonecall from anyone at Swyft/Bord Gais to tell us what's happening...very disappointing that we have a system that's fully paid for but not working after nearly seven weeks!!
A very positive experience.
The easiest and most seamless experience from point of contact untill installation of my new boiler, updates in between and knowledgeable efficient customer service, couldn't reccomend enough.
Excellent and Easy Energy install
very easy process from initial contact throught to project review and guided through all the steps of the installation including the navigation through grant applications. Also since installation great customer backup and enquiry availability. Couldnt recommend highly enough and a game changer for our long term energy strategy.
Our new gas boiler system installed in August 2022. Every year since, the boiler has failed its annual service. Finally, stopped working completely on January 02 2026. My main complaint is that the after-sales service and support is appalling. The attitude is that 'we're too busy to help' even though it came with a 7 year parts and service warranty. They also refused to cover the cost of finding an alternative solution provider.

Great Service
From Mick calling at my door a few weeks ago, to John and Liam the electricians switching everything on, I have to say it was a very fast and efficient service. The pre-checks was all done, all relevant questions asked and answered. The install was last Friday 12th December,. Electricians arrived 1st to started the running of the wiring and install of monitoring board, so neatly done by the way. Next came the lads working on the roof installing the supports and mounting the panels, with the gentleman from Height for Hire and I do mean Gentleman. I'm sorry to say that thier names of the lads on the roof escape me currently but nicer you'd be hard to meet. My almost 3 year old granddaughter who was with me that day was fantastic watching them work, they even said they'd checked and make sure the chimney was ready for Santa. Anyway to Mick, Barry, Rebecca in the office and to the team on the day a very big thank you Martina
The whole experience with Swyft energy…
The whole experience with Swyft energy was very professional, from initial quote to order and installation. The crew that came to fit our 14 panels were very quick and professional. The job was completed by a very good electrician who was neat and tidy and professional. Aileen in operations, was again she was joy to deal updating me on the various arrival dates of the installation crews. There were one or two things I needed explained regarding the 14kw battery set up but again Aileen responded quickly and clearly explained what needed to be done. I would recommend Swyft Energy from the point of view of technology they use the installation, support and price. Overall I think they represent a very good balance of value and quality hardware and installation. I would recommend using swift energy.Barry

I had a wonderful experience with Swift Energy for my solar panel installation from start to finish. The staff were very helpful and punctual throughout the process. I chose Swift Energy because they are a reputable company, and I have no regrets in selecting them for my solar installation. I have Huwei system though it’s slightly expensive compared to other offerings in the market. But it’s not the problem of Swift.
Don’t use this company . I had arranged last Friday for their surveyor to call today . Just got a call there to say no apologies ,could he re arrange as does not suit. I had taken day off work etc, I asked why he did not ring earlier to be told he had to go to Baltingglass , . , I suggested he could have texted or rang etc but that fell on deaf ears. I told him I was going to ring to complain etc but guess what they don’t answer their phones either . As we speak holding on for 9 minutes so going to abandon ship. I thought I might be better dealing with this company as they are owned by Bord Gais ,what a joke
Very disappointed with service from Swyft Energy. We saved for many years to have solar units installed and Swyft were initially very slick and happy to take our money. However, installation and quality of work was very disorganised and untidy. When the electricians came to install they informed us that they had not been given any works sheet so they didn't know what had been agreed with the sales agents. They were helpful in talking us through the process and carried out their work very professionally. It's a pity the rest of the Swyft organisation were not as competent as the two electricians. We were also told that there would be some ducting/cables running down the outside of the house which was fine. We did not expect such heavy, commercial looking piping to be fitted to a residential property though (photo attached). For the price we paid I'm sure that something more aesthetically pleasing could have been installed. Have not received any follow up or courtesy calls from Swyft Energy since to see if we're happy with everything.
I reached out to this company through their website to get a gas boiler installed. They sent me an email and even called, which seemed promising at first. However, when their specialist came over, they didn’t provide any clear information, and I never heard back from them after that. It left me feeling like the company isn’t well-organized or capable of delivering the services they offer. Honestly, I’m really disappointed.
Tried calling them to book an appointment to get a quote. Went to voicemail, never got called back. Filled out their form to have one of the Sales team call me and had a time booked for it. Naturally they never called me. Going to go elsewhere now.
Reached out to do a boiler upgrade. Their technician was great and provided a great solution and review but when it came to their sales team it was a nightmare. Ignored my requests for Seai grants information which they provide on their website, they were pushing me away from it saying it's really painful to get approval and do the paperwork myself (which it's not true as I've done in the past), they were just pushing me to leave the 99 Euro deposit and that's it. One if the worst sales team I had to deal with in my life, and I do this for work. An advice to management, please do quality controls on them as they don't provide information and don't even know what your company can do.
We had our boiler replaced and it was an efficient and professional process from start to finish. I got quotes from a number of providers but the advice, value and level of service with Swyft stood out. I would definitely recommend them for upgrading your boiler.
I completed an online boiler installation quote and the next day, I received a call and also an email from Swyft about it. Des, the Engineer turned up promptly, very friendly and cheerful! I was more than impressed by his knowledgeable and experience in carrying out the assessment of my heating system, and in answering all my questions. He gave an excellent comparison of the different Swyft products, and highly recommended Ideal system. His explanation on the new boiler was very clear and easily understandable. I would highly recommend him for the boiler assessment and would look forward to replacing my boiler with Swyft. Many thanks for his excellent and professional service!
Swyft installed a new boiler for us- I came across them on google search and I’m very glad I did. They were punctual, reliable, good value and available to answer any of our questions. We had an issue with the boiler shortly after they installed and they came out the next day and rectified it. I would definitely recommend them.
Would have no problem recommending Swyft Energy after having our gas boiler replaced. The process was very straight forward - Applied for assessment Assessment completed and report/quote received with 2hrs. A couple of questions and decision made. Installation was spot on and left spotless. Des was involved in the whole process and was a pleasure to deal with right through. He is a credit to your company.
Installation of a new boiler went well (if only they didn't completely fill up our bin with THEIR packaging) but they have shockingly bad customer service. Unable to reply to an email for days. They fitted a new boiler which has been leaking orange water all over our patio for 3 weeks now with no fix. Took the money and stopped caring. Avoid.
Had a new boiler installed by Swyft and found the whole procedure painless from beginning to end. The communication from the office staff was excellent, I was told the time the plumber would arrive and he did! The job was done efficiently. And the follow-up after the completion was excellent with Swyft ensuring I was happy with the installation. The price was also very reasonable.
Swyft energy were really pleasant to deal with. I was kept well informed as to what was needed of me regarding grants etc and they were punctual and professional at all times. The work was very tidy and am very pleased with the end result.
From start to finish they were brilliant. The engineer John was pleasant and super tidy and in and out in no time. We replaced our old boiler and cylinder and we thought that the radiators were gone too but worked fine after a good flush. We would highly recommend Swyft Energy.
In the search for someone to assist with selection and installation of a new boiler I had discussions with 6 companies. Swyft we’re by far the best. Their customer service process, technology and overall friendliness were outstanding. Initial consultation was very detailed and I got a quote and installation date on the spot! No messing or waiting. The plumber did a great job. Would highly recommend Swyft to anyone. They are setting the bar very high for other operators to compete with them.
We recently had a gas boiler replacement done by Swyft Energy team here in Cork. We are delighted with the service we got from start to finish. Our original boiler broke during Christmas and Swyft prioritized the installation which we were really appreciative of. The team at Swyft are extremely professional, reliable and have exceptional customer service. The engineer, Paul was very knowledgeable and helped us identify what boiler would best suit our home! Decided to choose Swyft to install my new boiler over other suppliers and I have no regrets with my choice. The team at Swyft are very professional and their level of customer service is really refreshing. They were really helpful and knowledgeable when it came to choosing the best boiler option for me. The engineer was also very friendly and helpful. He arrived on time, got the work done within the time and helped us set up the app for our new smart thermostat. Everything was cleaned up before he was gone. Would definitely recommend Swyft to others.
Would recommend Swyft, since first contact on chat, Claire arranged technician visit, all details were provided prior to visit. after technician carried out assessment quote was issued within day including all parts and grants were added in advance. Installation was done by 2 technicians from Dundalk, really professional team and work carried out to the highest standard one would expect. Even things like automation and hive were setup in no time and explained how to best use the new system to get most efficiency. all new fittings to outside secured properly and fixed into places as current regulations require, and did post install checks to make sure everything worked fine also advise on maintenance of boiler and getting best out of hive was a bonus. Swift did really pick best people as every step was explained by support and technicians and clean work carried out on agreed date with no downtime at all.
We had a boiler replacement when my boiler stopped working. Swift energy was amazing from the beginning to the end, they were always friendly and happy to answer any questions. While the electrician could have kept to his appointment better, Swyft even got on that to resolve it! I would recommend them to everyone!!! They even got the BER rating and grant sorted for us and they have a monthly plan for future services.
