Two time customer of LVP.

Already had a hot water system in place since 2012 and never had a problem so considered LVP for Solar. Quote was competitive, initial visit from Leo was very encouraging and informative. Installation was done in seven hours without much disturbance of the house. Una in finance was great with everything fully explained. So after using LVP twice, I'm very happy to recommend LVP.

Recently had some solar work done at our home and the installation was professional and neat! Richard was amazing to deal with and always willing to assist.

I was very dubious about selecting a company as I had heard so many horror stories about companies that on the surface look professional but can leave you very badly stung. So after selecting LVP Renewables because of their long standing reputation I am thrilled with the result. The service is outstanding and the attention to detail is heart warming. The product itself is amazing and is working more effectively that I expected. However I am most pleased in the knowledge that if there ever was an issue, they will always be there. recently got solar installed and have to say excellent service from start to finish, from the moment Shaun called to us till the install and completion he kept us updated as did the office staff couldn't recommend LVP enough first class

In the past I have had positive experiences with LVP renewables, so this year when working on a deep retrofit of a rented bungalow, they were the only company I wanted to install the Solar PV. The work to install 10 panels on the roof was done efficiently in less than one day. Because of the orientation of the house, four panels were put on the east-side and six on the west-side, meaning that there is electricity generated all day, and even now in November on a clear sunny day the output is very good and excess power is going to the grid. LVP staff are always helpful and friendly, and I have a very positive experience with them and recommend them very highly. Shaun is also fantastic at answering questions about the system, and I have learned a lot from him though this installation. Una in the office is efficient and helpful. The installation crew are professional and efficient too. A little bonus after the installation was that the company planted 10 trees on our behalf to offset the carbon footprint of the installation, a lovely gesture and very much appreciated. I recommend LVP Renewables highly for anyone considering Solar PV for their home.

God these guys are good! Had solar installed a few weeks back and the process couldn't have gone any quicker or run any smoother. They were so lovely to talk to on the phone and get everything scheduled. Once it was all set up, I was surprised how easy it was to understand everything, and it just worked with zero fuss whatsoever. I still get a daily kick out of seeing the energy that is being produced by solar. And holy moly, seeing my new and improved BER rating was just icing on the cake.

We are very pleased with our new solar panels. LVP were excellent. The installation was carried out very efficiently. They were very knowledgeable and provided clear and understandable information from the outset.

Very happy customer

Already had solar PV panel installed and wanted to complement it with a hot water system. LVP were extremely helpful and knowledgable and within a few weeks we had installed a solar thermal panel and a 200l tank which is now giving me a more than adequate supply of hot water. Installation took a morning as I had the tank plumbed in advance. Would strongly recommend the system and the company. Shaun and Una were particularly helpful and the system is working great

I had a very good experience with LVP Renewables. The team was professional, punctual, and completed the installation to a high standard. The overall setup looks excellent and well-organized, and so far everything appears to be working as expected. It will take some time to see how well the solar panels and inverter perform in the long run, but the first impression is very positive. The only point worth mentioning is that their offer for a 10 kW battery (€3,800) seemed a bit on the high side compared to similar options I found for around €2,450. Apart from that, I found LVP Renewables to be a reliable and professional company, and I would recommend them based on my experience so far.

I have just completed my Solar Panel installation by LVP RENEWABLES.From initial contact to completion , the service was very professional and efficient.The Solar panel team and the electrical crew were exceptional, so courteous and worked with the minimum of disruption. Once completed they did not leave without first explaining how the system worked and showing us on computer how it operates. Would highly recommend LVP Renewables .

It has been a great experience getting solar installed with LPV renewables, their knowledgeable and experienced sales staff could answer all my questions (did not find the same across other suppliers). Post install support has also been excellent as issue with position of zappi charger was sorted quickly.

Good experience

I had looked at quotes from about 5 companies for solar panels. I went with LVP because they weren't pushy, gave informative advice, and the prices were good. Once I ordered panels, they kept in touch and the installers arrived when they said they would. Solar panels were installed about 2 months after ordering. Overall very happy.

He contacted me shortly after installation to enquire if everything was going smoothly. Office manager Ùna was extremely efficient and knowledgeable. The LVP installation team fitted my solar panels in a remarkably short time, with no disruption whatsoever. Managing director Richard also provided superb follow up service.

Trustworthy and very professional

I knew nothing about solar and needed to be talked through everything. I was wary of being overcharged due to my ignorance. Richard and Gary turned out to be very helpful, professional, thorough and trustworthy. I am delighted with my 12 panels, battery and the app on my phone which gives me a complete dashboard of what's going on. A great company and I would happily use them again.

From start to finish I found LVP to be a delight to deal with. Gary is very knowledgeable about what we could and couldn't do. Doesn't try to bullshit you just says it as it is. Peter came and surveyed the property and gave us some advice. The guys who installed the system were also very good. Came when expected and were able to do a professional job. Overall our experience with LVP was very positive and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

A great service from LVP

I installed a thermodynamic water heating system 10 years ago and have never needed to use any alternative since, whatever the weather. Used LVP to install a system recently for a family member. Great service and delighted reaction all around. Can't understand why more people don't install these.

I got a Thermodynamic Solar Box System installed on the 11th of March 2025...It basically is a solar water heating system that provides hot water 24/7.. It is now May 6th and definitely ,so far so good... The LVP team arrived out early and were quick and clean with the installation...I had a previous bad experience with solar installation so I was dubious, to say the least, about going down this road again. But as I said, so far so good...No damage to the roof and the insulation was more of less intact on the installation site... From begining to end it was a seamless process and I would thoroughly recommend LVP to everyone for their solar installation..

Thermodynamic Solar Box System

I got a water heating "Thermodynamic Solar Box System" installed on the 11th March 2025...The LVP team arrived early and did a quick and clean installation.. It is now the 6th May 2025, and so far so good. We have constant hot water 24/7.. I would highly recommend LVP for all your solar installations.

Sorting out problem with my 7 year old Solar panel box

I bought the Energie solar panel system 7 years ago for heating my hot water. It is excellent. This week it was providing no more hot water. I rang the Service Department of LVP Renewables and a technician Richard rang be back. I took photos of the Energie box in the attic and he was able to guide me on the phone to sort out the problem. It was an airlock issue and he send helpful photos of what to do. Thank you Richard.

I don't normally write reviews, but...

I don't normally write reviews; a little socially irresponsible I guess. I just scanned the available reviews and tbh I am not sure why they asked me. There are so many 5 star reviews , I think I saw a few 4s.. there is only good feedback on this company and tbh, I am totally not surprised. My experience was superlative. From the outset of me requesting quotes based on a researched required system (approx 12 panels, 20kWhr batteries + inverter), that's just what I got, with internal and external options. An onsite meet to initially scope out the general plan another visit and we were off. A smooth process fixing an install date; I disrupted it, but was accommodated seamlessly - thanks. The install process was a pleasure to behold. The frame & panels on the roof went up very quickly. The effort put in to provide the shortest but least disruptive connection from the inverter in the attic to the consumer unit was definitely a 5 star result. The layout of the 4 batteries and associated boxes and cabling was impeccable. The system was set up and connected to my wifi and the targeted battery charge window set up by the team in the software. The team left within about 6 hrs , maybe less, having given me a good intro to the software app on my phone and PC. A few days later I realised there was a minor issue of unexpected capped battery charge rate. I got on to the team and whilst they tried resolving remotely with no success, they gave me clear instructions how to resolve which fixed the issue but it was with a clear intention to assist resolution whatever it took. The arrangements to get the BER assessment completed were seamless too. I am totally happy and appreciative of the effort and skills applied to my installation by LVP and to the single follow up issue response. If I sold my house and started again with a fresh project, I would have absolutely no hesitation to go back to them again. Thank you Shaun and Una and particularly the installation team for a showcase example of how to plan, manage, execute and provide follow-up support to a domestic Solar PV/Battery installation. It was a refreshing pleasure (particularly following an abortive contract with another larger, and in my opinion, an arrogant company). 6 weeks in (albeit lots of sunny days in those 6 weeks) on reflection, I commend LVP to "readers/potential customers" as an efficient, effective, competitive, proactive and exceptionally competent company in this regard. Thank you for what you have done for me at my house, I really appreciate it, and I request/hope you pass on this response to your install team. All the best, Mike

I got my solar panels from LVP. I was apprehensive as it is a big investment and there are so many companies to choose from. I am very glad I went with LVP, they were really great to deal with. I had one to two teething issues and they were very responsive in sorting them out. I would definitely recommend LVP. I am delighted with my panels.

We are delighted with the process from start to finish. I would highly recommend Gary and his team for your solar panels instillation. Arrived a day earlier (which we agreed) took a total of 2 hours to install 10 solar panels, invertor and Eddie water heater. An amazing team to deal with. Trust me you won't be disappointed. Professional, competitive prices and fantastic customer service.

Very good product and brilliant provider and installer

Very good product, brilliant mobile app and really productive system. We went with 10 panels, the invertor and a 5kW battery as it suited us. There was a good discussion on what would work for us. The installers thought on the job on the day a minor change to where to place the panels which was more beneficial to generation. For Feb and Mar 2025 we generated 560kWh solar energy and saved a total of over 0.5 tonnes CO2 emissions. 10 trees were planted to offset carbon emissions from installation (added bonus). I am delighted I used LVP Renewables to provide the system.

LVP super at vital after sales service…

I wrote a review for LVP in 2024 but neglected to explain the importance of after sale care. After sale care is unusually vital with solar panels because if anything goes wrong who else can you turn to but the original installers 5 years down the road. LVP are top class at after sales service. Any time the solar has been disrupted temporarily when the grid hasn't been able to absorb a big april output of solar energy LVP have investigated. Recently my info from the panels which comes through to my phone through an app went offline and an LVP technology man emailed instructions. Installed in 2020 that's 5 years of super aftercare. Solar is an unusual product. Because there are no independent solar service people that one can readily trust to solve a problem in ireland. It's almost like when an artificial hip causes trouble, one goes back to the original surgeon.

I used LVP to install my heat pump and thermodynamic panels and water system when I first moved into my house 6 years ago. I found them very professional, diligent, and their customer service skills were second to none. In December 2024, I purchased solar panels and a battery from LVP. Again, I was extremely well looked after. I was very well looked after price wise, and the instsllation was quick and extremely clean. I know if anything happens to any of my systems, I can call them and they will answer and look after me straight away. I couldn't recommend them highly enough and I will continue to use them into the future.

this company was super easy to deal from start to finish, I was told, that takes 6 to 8 weeks to get panels install, but they did a job in 4 weeks, guys was very fast and neat, all grant paperwork submitted straight away, highly recommending this company

Easily the best experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. From start to finish of the project, LVP’s communication was excellent and our solar PV installation was completed on time and with minimal disruption. Shaun and his team worked tirelessly to ensure that we were kept up-to-date at all times throughout the process. Given the investment required to install solar panels and the associated infrastructure, we were very careful in choosing a reputable company and did so based on the testimony of a previous customer. We’re glad we did!

Had a great experience all round with LVP. From the first call with Shaun where he gave me all the information and options. I got multiple quotes but I chose LVP because they got back to me with all my queries in a timely manner. This gave more confidence for all future interactions. I got a 4 week leadtime which was great and the guys showed up on the day and done a great job. They arrived at 9am and were gone again by 12:30 with 11 panels installed on the roof and inverter installed in the garage. I got all the assistance needed also to apply for the grant, with everything installed as per the grant standards. Would have no problems recommending LVP for a solar installation.

We have purchased the thermodynamic water heating system from LVP renewables. It is great! It compliments our existing solar PV system, and as the compressor takes much less electricity than an immersion, there's always enough power generated to have it working virtually for free, so always hot water available. Took the recommendation of Brian to get 2 panels for the increased speed of heating the water, and it works perfect with our quite big (7 people) family. I certainly recommend it the way it is setup for us, and I am looking forward to learn more about the possibilities, the system holds!
