Installation was fine but support service is delayed to the point of being useless. I have an issue where the unit itself won’t charge my car & I’ve been told I can expect to wait 48-72 hours for a call back as they are busy with new installations ??? Seriously that is terrible customer service. Very disappointing

Got our new EV charger installed today…
Got our new EV charger installed today by Epower . The electrician was Rachel and we have to say she did an amazing job from start to finish . Arrived on time , did the job perfectly and left the area spotless when finished . We are now up and running with our new Autel charger . Thanks Rachel 👍🏻 Top marks 👍🏻👍🏻

We got the Zappi Glo charger for our EV car. I find the ePower very efficient all the way from Sales to after sales service. Sales girl Hannah is amazing and Technical support guy Patrick is wonderful too! Thanks a lot guys
Excellent service! Delivery was quick and efficient, and the installation was completed just as promptly to a very high standard. Although an issue was identified with the Zappi unit display during installation, it was resolved easily and professionally, reinforcing my very positive overall impression of the company.

Great customer support from Patrick who helped me get myenergi app running on my phone and successfully paired with my charger. He was very patient, knew the menu options for the Zappi inside out and was able to guide me clearly through the process.
I purchased a Zappi from ePower in 2021 through the grant scheme. 4 years later there's a problem. Contracted ePower two weeks before Christmas but no call back. Contracted again a week later, finally got a call to be informed that they were going on holidays but because the unit was over the guarantee it would be an unretrieveable fault and I would have to purchase a new unit. Not something that I was told about when I purchased it. Not at all satisfied with the after sale service.
Absolutely terrible experience, avoid at all costs.
Do not ever use E‑Pair. I had one of the worst charging experiences I’ve ever had. I was charged €50 for a 40-minute charging session, which is already outrageous. On top of that, I signed up for their app once, and without any clear warning they started charging me a €20 monthly subscription. When I tried to cancel that subscription, it somehow got even worse, they charged me another €50 just for cancelling. Yes, you read that right: paying extra money just to stop being charged. This feels predatory, opaque, and deliberately designed to squeeze money out of users who just need to charge their car. Prices are unclear, subscriptions are sneaky, and cancellation is punished instead of being straightforward. Worst service I’ve ever dealt with in EV charging. Zero transparency, zero trust, and zero chance I’ll ever use this company again. There are plenty of other charging providers out there - use literally any of them instead.
One of their drivers (in a white car with big green ePower logo on the side) almost ran me over on my way to work one morning. I contacted the company to complain, but they just came back with a generic "Your feedback is important to us." Very disappointing responses considering how serious the issue is.

No invoice and hidden costs. I charged my car in Newbridge SuperValu parking using my banking card and now I should looking for an invoice and spending an hour it is still not clear how to get it. Then I downloaded ePower app the annual subscribtion payment was charged without my permission. Its a shame.

Car not charging
I have to start by saying that Patrick (Technical Support) was excellent. He was so helpful when trying to resolve the issue remotely. However, I contacted EPower on a Friday to let them know that my car wasn’t charging and was told it was a callback service. When I didn’t get a call on Monday, I rang again. Still no callback on Tuesday so I rang a third time. For this period, I had a car which wasn’t charging but was using up what charge was in the battery. I found this to be very stressful and poor customer service.

It's rare these days to get such great customer service, but I was extremely impressed with how quickly ePower turned around the installation of my home charger. From initial enquiry to completion was just 7 days. The ePower team communicated very promptly at every step and provided excellent guidance on product selection, SEAI grant application, etc. The installation itself was completed by Desmond Electrical, who were very professional; completing their work in about 2 hours, and with minimal disruption. Overall, this has been a very positive experience, and I have no hesitation in recommending ePower.
Best customer experience of 2025
EPower have some of the best customer service out there. They respond quickly, with professionalism, and without drama. I had an unusal issue with a Zappi cable that was stuck/affixed in my dead car - they unthethered the cable from the house unit so the car could be towed. They also returned as soon as I contacted them to reattach the cable. Zero fuss, and excellent follow up by Patrick.

I’ve just had the best customer care experience with ePower. Leonardo was an absolute pleasure to deal with during my purchase – professional, helpful, and informative throughout. The installation was carried out by Paudie, who is by far the neatest and most meticulous electrician to have ever worked on my home – a true professional. When it came to connecting the myenergi app on my phone, I reached out to customer service and was assisted by Patrick, who walked me through the process with patience and clarity. My Zappi settings needed adjusting to allow Eco plus mode to not drain my solar battery after a set charging our car time. Patrick from E-Power was very knowledgeable and guided me through the process and it is now working perfectly. Great customer service. Keith G
Patrick's assistance to help configure the system and resolve technical issues after installation was second to none. He was incredibly knowledgeable and offered excellent advice. His follow-up was prompt and courteous as all times. I could not have asked for more.
First off thank you for getting this done so seamlessly and easily but most of all the the professional work and the way in which your engineer fitted the charger. I was not there personally but when I have returned from work the house and outside the house where the work was done was clean, the job was completed and the install process had been completed to a very high and very good standard. The Charger was in the location I wanted and all was working perfectly. A very BIG thank you to all involved but especially to the engineer who did the work!

ePower was great from start to finish! Got contacted from Jackie regarding the charger. Everything was explained in detail, about the charger and the grant itself. Zappi was delivered in 2 days, and was installed the next week. Jackie was great to deal with. Would 100% reccomend to anyone looking for an EV charger.

Ordered my Zappi from ePower last Monday week and the unit was installed yesterday. Patrick, in sales, was excellent in all our dealings and assisted me with the grant application process. The installation team were efficient and spent time thinking through the best option for the cable run to ensure a nice fit. After installation, Caitriona, from the Tech Support team at ePower, patiently guided me through setting up the unit and the app and subsequently emailed me some useful guides. Overall a fantastic experience and thanks to Patrick and Caitriona at ePower for their help. Highly recommended!
I found ePower fantastic. I had ordered an EV charger from another Cork based company and after 3 months with no charger installed I had to cancel for a refund. In stepped ePower and within 2 weeks I had a friendly electrician install a charger hassle free! Jackie was also very responsive by email the entire way through the process and even sent a follow up email a week after installation to just double check everything went well and I had what I needed to apply for the grant. Cant fault ePower anywhere here, found them excellent to deal with
ePower installed an EV charger in my property recently, they gave me an installation window of three weeks, Dave, the electrician, came the expected day on time and made a fantastic job, a very clear and neat installation We had a problem with the cabinet for the distribution board but they solved it quickly and in satisfactory way. Sales and support has been always responsive and have been following up the process from the beginning. Alan, Steven, Dave and all the team that I had interaction with have been highly professional friendly and transparent, something that is pretty hard to find nowadays. I would highly recommend ePower to anyone that is looking to get an EV charger installed.
