Shocking experience, after being promised it would be a simple installation and a lot longer then the timescale i was told . When the guys eventually arrived to do it ,it quickly became apparent it was a far bigger job and holes and large ducting would have to be put in a few rooms . Also the guys ( who were nice in fairness) said rather than the agreed 8 panels they could only do 5. So obviously we decided not to go ahead. Waiting almost 4 weeks for the refund of my deposit of €1,500 . Not one person from the company contacted me even though I contacted them on numerous occasions only to be promised it would be sorted and eventually ignored. Had to threaten legal action and another phone call plus emails to eventually get the deposit back. STAY AWAY

Unprofessional Cold Calling This service has phoned my work phone 25 times, and left voicemails ongoing. Asking me to contact them if I wanted a quote. 30/09; 01/10; 03/10; 06/10 x2; 07/10; 08/10; 09/10 x2; 11/10; 13/10 x2; 16/10; 17/10; 21/10 After leaving this review they have continued to call me touting for business: 22/10 23/10 28/10 29/10 30/10 x3 30/10 in the evening the sent me a what’s app message. I continue to be contacted by the company every day. As such I have also reported to the data protection commission. After this they have continued to call me. 01/11 03/11 08/11 12/11

I purchased Solar Panels from PV Generations from their salesman Joe Long who was extremely polite and helpful in explaining everything in detail to my wife and myself. I was always kept up to date with what was happening and I was met by a man who's name evades me for to do a 3D of the house and he sent it back to me to review. Initially we were going for 10 Panels but later decided to go with 12 Panels. I was given a date and time for the installation and everyone arrived way before their time which is not something we see too often these days. The crew who fitted the Panels and the Electricians were excellent and very polite and friendly. I apologise for not remembering all the names as I have MS but the Electricians were Lee and Richard. Everyone of the crew on the day were so tidy that there was not a speck of dirt left after them. The only difference to my home both inside and outside after both crews had left was that I now have a Solar panel system. I had nothing out of place and not a speck of dirt left behind. When the lads started on the roof I was told that I had a broken tile and as I had some spare tiles they replaced this for me willingly. I can only say good things about PV Generations. I had a call from Natasha who rang to confirm that they had received my Bank draft. A nice thing to do and a lovely lady to speak with.

Absolutely joy to work with. Professional from start to finish. Told me the install date for the PV system would be about 12 weeks, they called me after 7 and asked if I was ready for the install. Done in 8 weeks, not 12. On the day the team arrived, here at 8am. Straight down to work. They are really tidy and clean and left no mess. Everything finished to a very high quality. As I say, professional throughout. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Well done to all involved. Pat Macken. Edit. As a result of the new water heating from the solar panels I had an issue with the immersion. I got onto the after sales service team and they were fantastic. Really responsive and figured out the problem very quickly. Just a pleasure to deal with.

After contacting a number of providers I decided to go with PV Generation after reading a case study on an installation in Cork. The initial survey was completed by Tony, I was reassured by his knowledge and his willingness to listen to my views. I was told that it I went with pv generation there would be a clear schedule laid out for the installation, I was sceptical about this but as I turned out there was no need to be. The installation survey was completed efficiently and was informed of each of the elements which would take place during the installation process and that a 3d plan would be sent to me once the engineer had the design drawn up. All elements of the grant application was handled by pv generation. The day of the installation Brian and his colleague (electricians) arrived at 8.30 and proceeded with the installation, shortly afterwards the roofers arrived. I was reassured by all safety elements of the installation. The electricians were completed by 11am and demonstrated the App with me before leaving. The roofers were completed by 2.30pm and didn't leave any trace of rubbish left behind. Power was being produced immeadiately. A week later my BER certification took place and all was completed. My only negative aspect to the installation was I was hoping to get 18 panels but had to make do with 16, I feel 18 panels would have fit. This is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 and I'd have no problem with recommending PV Generation.
