They have Stolen my Money, have not installed the Battery and are now avoiding my calls. I asked NextGen to install the givenergy all in one Battery. I paid the 7K deposit and I was initially given an install date of July 1st 2025. Nobody arrived and nobody contacted me either to tell me they wouldn't be there or to tell me when it would be installed. I had to contact them. They apologised and rescheduled. The same thing happened again. No show, no contact, no follow up. Again I had to contact them, and was again rescheduled. The same thing happened again and again and again. After 9 failed install attempts I requested my money back, at which point they stopped answering my calls. This company has lied to me multiple times, telling me that the battery would be installed when they knew it couldn't possibly be installed because they didn't even have the unit in stock. I am still without my money.

Avoid altogether They did a job for me which failed an inspection by the regulator as there was numerous safety issues. With underuse cable. Oversized fuses. The electrician wasn’t a registered one. The roofer did not secure the ladder and it fell while he was up in the roof. The office team make big promises but fail to deliver basic paperwork Really not worth the hassle of going with them

Two months since installation and 1 Mwh of generated energy later and I couldn’t be happier with the 5kw Solar PV and Givenergy All In One system installed by Next Gen-Power. Jacob was very helpful and knowledgeable during the configuration of our system, Patricia was amazing taking care of all the paperwork to make sure everything was done on time, the roofers did a very clean job and Mathew did an extremely neat installation of the All In One, Inverter and Gateway. And the cherry on top of the cake, my first bill after installation and I am already building credit, even with charging the EV.

Customer service is absolutely terrible. We have been assured four times since March that the paperwork for our grant would be complete. Our grant application is now running out as we continue to get empty assurances that the paperwork will be completed by Next Gen.

Both getting the system (PV+battery) installed in the first place, and then getting it fixed after a faulty install rendered it useless took legal threats to get done. 6 weeks between panels going in and rest getting done with no explanation. System stopped working soon after, took a month to get a technician out after trying to fob us off onto the manufacturer, turned out to be a basic install mistake. I've reported them to the manufacturer as I would advise anyone looking for GivEnergy systems to run a mile if these lot have anything to do with it. Calling the office gets you nowhere, their goal is to get you off the phone ASAP with promises of callbacks that never happen. Emails get ignored. The only language they speak is refund and legal route. Cowboys of the highest order. I have no hesitation in leaving the worst possible review, as I have no intention of ever dealing with them again. I assume their guarantee is worthless. I will work with any other electrician and pay a premium just so I'm not treated like a mug. I've dealt with multiple contractors over years and these the worst by a mile. Save yourself months of heartache and avoid like the plague.
